I am so disappointed with the customer service of Ashore reality. My family and I rented a property at 218 15th Street N., at a rate of $6,000 per week. We arrived at the home to find it completely unlocked and the doors wide opened. The house was filthy. It had trash all over the property and in the home. The decks and floors were covered in cigarettes even though the contract assured the home was smoke free. There was filth on all of the carpets including pills on the carpets. The cleaning service did not arrive at the home until 2 hours after our check in time and then took approximately 1/2 hour to clean the home, nearly 5,000 square feet. The only thing the cleaning service did was wipe the counters and sweep the tile areas. The rest of the house was left filthy. One of the bathtubs was full of mold and body hair. It took 7 of us 5 hours to get the house into decent condition. Ashore reality was fully aware of the situation and offered very little help. Someone was sent on Monday afternoon (we checked in Saturday afternoon) to fix the outdoor shower, remove the mounds of trash filling the garage, and clean the bathroom filled with mold. Ashore reality said beyond that we would receive our cleaning deposit back but there was nothing else they could do, that the home owner refused any sort of compensation. After this communication Ashore reality, specifically Dennis, stopped responding to our messages. We never received our cleaning deposit back. After 6 weeks we were told that by mistake, it was never charged to us. We fully paid the $6,000 prior to arrival but were told this was a separate fee we were unaware of. Regardless, it was an obvious mismanagement. It is clear that there is poor communication between the home owners, renters, cleaning/maintenance crews and representatives distributing property keys. Please, save yourself the headache and do not use this company for your reality needs. read more
