The setup is pretty simple; it is a maze of small shops that range from computer help to mobile repair to video games with an entrance / exit accessible only by escalators. The space is tight, with low ceilings and narrow hallways, which make this place somewhat claustrophobic especially when there are people crowding certain stores.
My favorite time to come here is between 10-11am. Most of the shops are open and there is plenty of room to explore without the people rush. I've purchased mousepads, USB adapters, keyboards, camera memory, and basic electronics. Most of the things I've sought out can be purchased at any discount / flea market, but quality is a concern this is a good place to start. Every store has its own unique inventory, it never hurts to bargain and shop around.
Always bring a smart phone with a picture of the desired item. It saves a lot of dialogue and keeps the shopping experience ideal. The prices aren't going to be as cheap as Kowloon, but it does the trick on short notice.
