I came here as a walk in on two different occasions. The first time I had a similar experience to…read morethe negative reviews. There was a really long waiting time and was basically turned away and told to come back in the afternoon because the morning was too full. The receptionist showed no empathy at all. The second time I came here was a completely different experience. The waiting room wasn't as full and I had to wait only about 10 minutes to see the doctor. There wasn't any small talk to get to know me but I don't really care about that. I wanted to get my issue resolved efficiently, which is what happened. The doctor made a diagnosis and explained what she was prescribing. I got my medicine and was in and out of the office I'm less than 45 minutes. The waiting area here is nice compared to some other General practitioner offices I have been to. I would expect to wait a long time if you come at peak hours. Don't expect a lot of banter and small talk. But I don't find this place as bad as the reviews say. I also don't speak Cantonese and am an English speaker. I imagine the experience is much better if you can speak the local language.

You can reserve a specific doctor or just walk in if you have no preference. There are also two 'exam rooms', which I think is for body checks. The other half is a dental clinic. The waiting area is large, because there is almost definitely a wait (I came around 10:30am on a Wed and waited 20 mins for doc then 10 mins to pickup meds). For those who can't claim medical, QHC is relatively reasonably priced, compared to the doctors in Central. A normal checkup is Hkd 280 for general practice or Hkd 700 for specialist checkup.
