They attend the English revision course at " 'Brilliant minds' ", errors my children made were ticked as correct. eg they had erroneously written down 'bunch of bread' for a picture of a loaf of bread, a 'bag of chocolate' for a picture of a bar of chocolate'. Then on a table with three children, Jim, Peggy and Benny who are 9, 8 and 10 respectively. Sentence says 'Peggy is 8 years old. She is_______ Jim. Well daughter incorrectly filled in 'older then'. Table clearly says Peggy is 8 and Jim is 9 yet daughter was marked correct. Not only is she younger but 'younger than' not 'then' as daughter had clearly written. Basic arithmetic multiple choice, a receipt is shown with total cost of $132.5 then asks if $150 was paid, what change would you get. Daughter chose $18 and marked correct. The answer was "A" $17.50. 'She is a gril' was marked correct. Theres about half a dozen more errors that I won't bother detailing. A good english student in primary 6 would most likely mark better. I was going to email a complaint, but can't even find their website. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I am even considering requesting a refund for the english class or reporting poor quality 'teaching' Suggestions? They really should be renamed Bungled Minds not Brilliant minds.
