I agree with Laura. Though I'm not the finest collegiate and a rather poor academic, I did meet some of my favorite professors of my rather paltry career as a dimwit in the ivory tower.
Maxine Chernoff is fantastic - no BS critiques and a clear understanding of the goings ons of a story.
Toni Mirosevich is amazing. I believe at one point, she was a truck driver, among many things. Wonderful teacher, great writer, fabulous person. I suppose I could go on and on.
There's the good and then there's the not-so-good, but I suppose that just comes from me not really liking school all that much. Why, then, would one suppose I went back to school to attempt a terminal degree? Why, the crumpet I suppose. (Kidding...I just had Barry Sheene's voice in my head). I suppose I just figured, what the hell? If I'm good enough to get in, then I can be happy with that right? Well, talk about grand intentions eh? I am, however, off topic at this point.
*Excellent writing program.
*Competitive.
*Rooms smell like paper, not circuitry. A good thing.
By the way, Laura...Langton switches those Coke bottle glasses every 20 seconds because he's extremely near-sighted and incredibly far-sighted, both negating the other. Another excellent professor. read more
