It is unusual to be a carpenter in today's developed world, not even to say HK. But this is where Saturn Wood Workshop starts! And what is even more unusual: Saturn was founded by two young teenager girls! They looks girlish from first sight, but when they talked, you are just inspired by their passion in wood & design. They further break the traditional: recycling disposed wood from factory into useful products. And they do a lot of research on wooden products. They have been making a wide range: from a furniture, to a Cajon, to a delicate accessory. I tried to carpenter a wooden name-card case, and truly it is a really tough job for me. The wood is not easy to cut by hand. You need to use some strength and quite some time. But the process and outcome is inspiring.
