This is one of the more prestigious all-girl catholic schools in Hong Kong, and I'm privileged to note that I attended this school before I moved to Canada, when the schooling system was much simpler and hence less competitive.
This school offers pre-nursery, kindergarten, primary and secondary bilingual schooling. As this school is started by French nuns back in the 1800s, it also offers a French stream where parents can opt for French (instead of Chinese) as a second language.
My most memorable bit of this school is actually its proximity to all the key shopping malls in Hong Kong and remember many lunches where I would gobble down my food and spend the rest of the time shopping.
The other distinctive thing about this school is of course its summer uniform. Tartan tie and skirt makes it one of the most recognizable and stylish uniforms in Hong Kong. Like gossip girl we would hike up our skirts (worn over gym shorts to avoid flashing cwb) and push down our knee socks after school for a more stylish look. Another thing unique about the uniform is of course the black and white Oxford shoes. We paulinians have been wearing those shoes long before Prada made them cool.
Other points to note is that netball is the unofficial sport of the school and many alumni would still gather together for an occasion match. The dance team is also legendary and had performed in the equestrian event in Hong Kong during the Beijing Olympics.
