There are many stationery stores around Hong Kong because, let's face it, they are an essential part of our lives. But not all stationery stores sell every bit of stationery, so I've come to realize. Some sell paper but no ink, others sell everything except envelops. It's a real source of frustration. Reliance Stationery Centre's name tells you that whatever you need you can rely on finding it here. That is to say, everything that I've needed I've found here, anyway. The bottom floor is big in its own right but there's even an upstairs to is as well with even more stationery. I walked in looking for stickers, which I found within 3 minutes, and I walked out with a whole bag of other stuff. A couple pens (why not?), a world map - something I've been looking for for quite some time, and a business card holder. I did not check if they provided printing services, if I had noticed that it would easily be given a five star rating. It's also in a very accessible location between central and Sheung Wan, closer to Sheung Wan, so picking up something between lunch breaks is an option. The morale of the story is that the next time you are fretting because you're missing a pen, printer cartridge, stamp collection folder, world map or some such you now know where you're most likely to find it.

In lue of going on and on, let me highlight simply one section to make my point...the tape section! Masking tape, duck tape, two-sided tape, clear tape, packing tape, scotch tape, magic tape...a whole wall of tape! And this same principle of vast quantity and variety applies if you are at CN Square looking for push pins, pens or any office supply in between. Their entire ground floor is pens...a whole floor of just pens! This is a great office supply store!

Second floor - "Formal" office supplies such as folders, binders, calculators, etc...(soo many to name!) Third floor: for the "artsy do-it-yourself- fan" such as myself. Lots and lots of stamps, photo albums, limited scrapbook things but they have a good selection, gift boxes, etc... Fourth floor: A painters paradise. Lots and lots of different paints and brushes! I love this bookstore! Not because of its books, but because of it home office supplies. It almost…read moreseems like its two stores in one. It's conveniently located at Olympian Mall, near the Olympic MTR Station. This store has everything you would need to stock a home office besides the furniture. It's also a great place for school, and art supplies. I'm not an artist, but they seemed to have an ample amount of paintbrushes and paint available for purchase. There are also a plethora of binders, and writing utensils available. They even had poster boards, and poster holders. If you are giving a present anytime soon, the have bows, ribbons, as well as wrapping paper by the length so that you don't have to buy the whole roll. There is also a small collection of board games for purchase. There aren't really labels on the aisles, so I ended up asking the store clerk several times to point me in the right direction, and she did so willingly. This is my go to store for office supplies and knick knacks that I need in my home, especially to fill the junk drawer. If you're looking for something school, or office related, stop on in. The English book selection here is limited, but it's my mini "Office Depot" away from home.
