We ordered the mixed platter, one kibbie, and a small tabouli salad. The Kibbie was so good that we finished before we were able to take a picture...sorry. The Mixed Platter was great. It had chicken, lamb, kofta with a bit of labne, hummus, and a salad of lettuce, tomato and onion. The tabouli was beautiful and it also eaten almost completely before we got a picture. All of the food was some of the best Lebanese food we have had. Service was great. The atmosphere was hopping with lots of locals enjoying their Sunday lunch. No reservations taken. The place is large so if there is a wait it won't take long. Highly recommend.

They called it "the chef's specialty" yet it was simple white rice and beans for 50chf. When we asked why (because the dish and price were nowhere on the menu), they argued the rice was 10chf which is outrageous, but then took the bill and with no explanations brought it down to 40? Was pretty sketchy. I saw someone else review the same type of problem on google, I guess this was a normal occurrence for them. Definitely ruined the evening for us. Other than that some of the food was okay but nothing special. I don't recommend this place at all.

I visited la Caravane hoping for a tasty, quick meal, and I was NOT disappointed!…read more After consulting with my server I went with a traditional plate that featured a mix of warm and cold mezes; to this I added one additional choice from the menu, as I was very hungry. The food was served very quickly, and all the tastes and flavors were outstanding; even the marinated pieces of chicken were tender, flavorful, and juicy :-) While I enjoyed the entire meal, the best of what I tried was the falafel and the kefta. Service was friendly, efficient and quick, and the prices were surprising reasonable for Geneva. Highly recommended!

It might be pricey but you pay the quality, the quantity and the good service. Atmosphere 5/5: One of my favorite restaurant decorations with different items that reminds you that the Persian culture is not only about food, but it is a civilization with history. The place is upscale and discrete at the same time. Food 5/5: Enough said. Try the Kabab or the "Plat du Jour" as well. Both of them are really good and authentic Persian food. Service 4/5: The owner is great person that gives you always the best service. Minus: It might be a little bit more expensive than other restaurant. 25.- for "Le Plat du Jour" or Kababs starting in the 30's - 40's but it's worth it! You should definitely give it a shot!
