Fjords and stones…read more The Geiranger Graveyard is located behind the old Geranger Church, just short walk from the center of Geiranger. It's in a lovely loction tucked in between mountains and at the end of a fjord, so the scenery is stunning no matter where you look. The cemetery looks extremely well maintained and many of the graves have fresh flowers on them and the lawn is nicely cut. All of the gravestones are modest and many are quite recent, although curiously there are a few memorials from the 19th century mixed in. A lovely little graveyard next to a wonderful and historical church located in a stunning and breathtakingly beautiful village.
