Sadly it was quite windy and rainy on the day we intended to go so we ended up strolling around town instead and happened upon their retail shop in the charming town of Nice. To me, Fragonard perfumes are gorgeous and fresh and not at all candy-like or overly sweet. It was difficult to choose the ones I liked best. They also had the most adorable linens, soap dishes and things of that nature. I wanted to purchase everything in sight as gifts for friends and so forth. The perfume I loved the most was in too large of a bottle to take home on the plane (you are limited to 100ml) so I brought back some beautiful soaps instead. The staff is very helpful and generous with samples. They also have a mailing list and as it turns out you can order online. They ship worldwide so I can order a big bottle of my favorite, Lune de Miel, after all. So happy!

When we explained that was not what we ordered he got so upset and argumentative we took it. Then our waiter and several other staff stood and laughed about it while we ate. Oui, je parle francais. Then my daughter's chicken Caesar salads with crispy chicken came out and it was inedible. The chicken was like charcoal bricks and there was a raw egg on it. When the waiter saw they did not eat the salads he was angry. There was no apology. We paid and left because our friends who reside in town walked up. The bill was 128.00 euro

The have a great breakfast option that is only €8 and include a hot drink, glass of juice, a croissant, bread, jam & butter! Everything was fresh, the cappuccino was delicious and it was the perfect way to sit and start our mornings! They had plenty of heartier breakfast options but I am not a huge breakfast eater so this was perfect for me and the price was great! This restaurant was also in a great central location and we found it was on the way to many of the places we were headed in the mornings so super convenient!

So anyway I had to come back down the hill to this shop. I don't regret it. This shop was so cool. We tried flavors of the oil and seasoned olives. All pretty delicious. Bought a bunch to take home. Even threw in some as a wedding gift. It's so cool that it is harvested right here. I will have to come back in the correct season The shop is so cute inside. Lots of wooden cookware too that looked cool. Put a pin in this place because you gotta go.

Overall, cute little store in a cute little village.
