Herr Schneider did all this, plus tuned up and checked out my husband's bike for €106. We are independent travelers; we arrived Bamberg on Monday and are doing our own bike trip along the Main to Mainz. Herr Schneider was very responsive to our needs for a "quick fix".

Free air for everyone! Pump it, baby!…read more The last time I brought my bike here, it was because someone smashed it on purpose - I honestly thought it was beyond repair. About three hours later, I was able to pick up my bike, looking all shiny and new! These guys sure know how to handle your bike! I am not sure about the bikes you can buy there, as I only ever made use of their repair service, but I get the feeling they focus more on the repairing part than selling new bikes. The prices for the repairs are decent, I always paid between 30 - 55€, including all materials. Usually they also replace some old and broken bits and pieces, while doing the actual repair, for which they only ever charge 2-3€ extra for the materials used. Oh, and there is a bicycle pump with free air for your tyres - no need to buy anything, just grab your bike, ride by and pump up those tyres. Bottom line: * Free air for your tyres * Nice staff who seem to know what they are doing * Really fast (!!!) * Moderate prices
