I have been to Zuma in Hong Kong, London, Rome, Dubai and other locations... as a guest @ the hotel I made a reservation here to celebrate my father's birthday with a party of eight...
Anyhow service was awful, the sommelier was pushing for the expensive wines, not top shelf, in turkey alcohol is expensive, however, we order 2 bottles of sake, wine and a lot of food.
Service was unapologetically poor. The fish was not fresh. Ingredients lacked freshness. The terrace area was loud and even the staff were so confused with the food orders and drinks.
We finished with dessert and a round of whiskey; and they brought us a cake, but they refused to serve us the whisky because they were expecting another party.
So we ended up @ the hotel bar upstairs which is a by far a better. Every single night during our stay we would end up upstairs, the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. The mocktails are fantastic.
The Director of the Restaurant heard about our experience and offered my father and everyone his deepest apologies and we told him about the lack of experience quality. He was happy we shared our comments. read more
