Then our pension hostess recommended Kajute and it was perfect. We took notice of only the simplest part of the menu, but it was excellent. Apart from the obvious -- sausages in various combinations -- a really good bet there is the "Eintopf," a huge bowl of soup that contains pretty much everything; it's not a stew but a real soup; delicious and satisfying. A half liter of Detmolder Landbier tops off any good meal, and they have it on tap. The gentleman who might be the proprietor has enough good English to serve you.

The buffet included typical Chinese food- rice, noodles, fried chicken and calamari, various marinated meats (chicken, duck, beef, and seafood), spicy soup, as well as some sushi, salad bar, and western food (French fries, pizza). Dessert includes fruits, ice cream, jello, and a chocolate fountain. If you are craving Asian food in the small town of Bad Driburg, this is the place to go.
