Ask locals for recommendations, and places like this are worth going to. A local friend told us about this place - that they have good food and generous portions. They were absolutely right! Love every bit of my plate, and it even came with a salad. Food was freshly made, meat was tender, spätzle (German noodles) were homemade. Some restaurants serve store-bought spätzle and they don't taste good. Prices were also great! Service was so-so, but I expected that already from these country german restaurants. But you definitely get your Dollar's worth in this restaurant. I would definitely go again, and see what they have to offer on a Sunday lunch.

"A+" from the opening salad to the ending schnapps and everything in between. We went on a Friday evening and the place was packed by 20:00 with a lively mix of locals and hotel guests. The owner has a strong culinary history - and as I hear it - is a professionally trained opera singer. This restaurant is off the beaten path, but find it and eat there.
