The service is fast and very friendly, even so a majority of the staff is very young. The menu is multilingual - Hessisch, German & English - and includes hearty foot fit for active guests e.g. after a hike up a mountain, plus a few smaller snacks & a special kids' menu. Nothing fency but befitting and absolutely enjoable. So expect steak, Schnitzel and other meat offers - even so there are salads as well. The portions are big, the quality is very good and the prices are good as well - especially on the food there is no real surcharge for the great location. They started us with some homemade bread and this pepper cheese sauce, which was amazing. The salads were large and fresh. We ordered the kasespetzle, jagerschnitzel, cordon blue, and the krustenbraten. The portions were very large which was great. The only problems was that the jager sauce was salty and the kasespetzle was ok. We would recommend and will come back again
