We were in Normandy for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and decided to put in a different day, so we ended up in Zoo de Champrepus. It was an inspired choice. The zoo is quite big, but relaxed, beautifully landscaped and with a nice lay-out and walking route. On top of that we have seen multiple animals we had not seen before (and we have have been to many zoos). The lemurs were probably the highlight, but the giraffes, tigers and cheetah are also great. And for the smaller ones the goats and donkeys in the minifarm are excellent. A big surprise and well worth the over 4 hours we spent there. read more
