You need to bring a book or your headphones to get through the line. Today I waited TWO EFFING HOURS to get my food. It was their aniversario sale, but STILL. I was near tears. I do appreciate the always ready cabs, and there are some stores I always need underneath (kalunga) but I can only muster up the strength to go here every other month. However, I am single, so with a family, the savings are probably worth it.

The prices are decent but sometimes the selection of produce is terrrrrrible. They have a pretty decent plant selection in the back, bikes, dog food, cleaning supplies, electronics, etc. You can pay bills, buy a cellphone, eat some food at their mini food court. The people who work there look miserable and move in absolute slow-motion, but I mostly just find this funny. It is what it is.

But for being about 10 times as big as zona sul it doesnt have much more variety or selection on the shelves, basically it has the exact same stuff but 10 times as much of it. The fish department was actually atrocious- i should have taken some pics of the horrendous quality they had on display. Walking out of the store i couldnt help but compare it to Aldi in the US and think "this is a store for poor people". I will never willingly come back here.
