On the ground the station looks really simple. It's like a bus station somehow. But because of this it's really easy to get on the U bahn. Underground is total different style, it really modern, I really like the design of it. Pity, it isn't so big. In the middle there is a kiosk for people who like get something on the way. Station Heumarkt itself isn't too big, but around this station offer lots of different shops, bars and restaurants. It's quite busy here and quite popular to hang around.

Well located, TCBTL is just across the street, and also like 3 minutes walking distance to the Rhein, bars like the Malzmühle or the HRC. I just wish there were more lines going thru this station.

From this station you can go to Geleen, Heerlen, Sittard and Belgium. The train station is around 15 minutes walking away from the city center. You have to cross the river Maas for that.

foute info gekregen van stationsbediende in de hal van het station op 26.08 rond 9u . trein naar…read moreAachen reed niet. stationsbediende zegt dat er om 9u22 een snelbus vertrekt naar Aachen. na 20' wachten komt de bus maar die rijdt enkel naar Heerlen en niet naar Aachen. vriendelijke buschauffeur legt ons uit dat we wel van daaruit naar Aachen kunnen. Helaas door de foute info van de stationsbediende onze trein vanuit Aachen gemist. Als deze dame ons goed had geïnformeerd hadden we de bus 350 kunnen nemen waardoor we wel tijdig aankwamen. Onze tickets naar Stuttgart vervallen en konden er nu 2x nieuwe kopen !!! tip voor het station in Maastricht : leid aub de stationsbediende beter op .
