Paul, an electrician at AE did a thorough inspection and showed me what needed to be changed. Drake (owner) promptly got back to me with a very reasonable estimate. Paul (and later Nick), removed old, dangerous wiring and replaced it with new, modern wire. Paul replaced all switches as well. Both men were professional, honest and friendly. After the job was finished, Drake indicated that the job would not cost me as much as he had originally estimated. I was impressed with his honestly and the final cost! I will continue to use Athens Electric for all of my electrical needs and have and will continue to recommend this excellent company to friends and family.

After just over a year of doing business with Marietta Outdoor Power, I felt a need to review them…read morehere so other potential customers do not make the same mistake(s) I did. I purchased a Husqvarna Z254F Zero Turn mower from them last summer. Since then, it's been in their service department for repairs three (3) times in less than a year. First, a bolt on one of the blade-drive sprockets broke off. Second, the parking brake springs were making a loud grinding sound. Third (after Marietta Outdoor Power did a winter tune-up), the oil was found to be over-filled and a hydraulic fluid leak developed, rendering the mower to be without substantial power. It should be noted that I did not add any additional oil since the tune-up, even though I was called by one of their salesmen and accused of doing so. It should also be noted that when they delivered the mower to my residence this last time, they did not leave any paperwork as to indicate what they serviced. I also want to stress that at no time have I used my mower in a haphazard manner. Since then, I've filled out a survey (one month ago) from them stating exactly what I've listed in this review. I have not heard or seen a response from any of their associates. During my many years of employment, I have always treated my customers with the highest level of customer service. Believe me, this is not customer service by any means. I truly wish they had a buy-back program!

Jordie and his dad came out and gave us an estimate that was far lower than any of the Columbus area contractors. They had to bust up and dig out all that old concrete and rebar before they could put our new deck in. The amount of work they did in the short amount of time they completed it in was truly incredible. On the fly they rolled with my idea to extend the porch and make it a wraparound instead of leaving it as a short porch. I was so pleased with how it looked. These are two of the kindest people I've ever met and I'm so glad we found them! It broke my heart when we sold our house and moved because my deck was easily my favorite part of our old house, but I cannot wait to hire them to remodel the deck at my new house soon!
