We stood in the waiting room behind the patient in front of us who was checking in. Once that patient was checked in and they got to us they did not indicate we couldn't be seen. They proceeded to go through the paperwork, taking the insurance card and copying it, etc. Once all of that was done the receptionist said she would let them know we were there. She then said they couldn't see us because we were past the strict 10 minute policy. My poor son is 5 years old and has had sudden hearing loss for the past 6 days. I understand having a late policy and needing to stick to it. How there was not consideration for the fact that we were NOT 10 minutes late and we were waiting to be checked in, in addition to the fact that life happens (getting stuck behind a bus) AND there was no care about the fact that we are talking about the sudden loss of hearing of a 5 year old child is beyond me. If the practice can not treat their patients with care and function black and white without consideration of barriers beyond control of their patients then I do not want to be cared for here. When we left my poor child said "Wait what are we doing? I can't hear. They were going to help me." ...I thought the same.

This place used to have issues with answering phones and keeping…read morethings professional as far as the secretaries were concerned but they seemed to hire new staff and people actually answer the phones and call you back now.. Jeffrey took the time to listen to my symptoms and seemed like he cared.. I had surgery to remove a lymph node and he did An amazing job. Everyone was kind and friendly.. The office is small but clean. I've never met any of the other doctors. But Jeff is definitely the best they got. These smaller private offices always seem to care more and offer more help... I thank the ear nose and throat specialists for at least trying to help me figure out what's wrong with me and my lymph nodes... Other doctors don't care and shrug their shoulders.

Everything went flawlessly and was about as painless as any surgery can be. I'm a 6 year…read morecancer survivor and after finding out the breast implants a different surgeon had used for my reconstruction were part of the recall which could cause a rare type of lymphoma, I knew I wanted to have them removed and exchanged for different ones. Dr. Lee and Carly Matthews, his PA, explained every detail of what could happen in surgery, good and bad, in a way where I didn't feel I needed to pull out a medical dictionary. He reiterated at the pre-op appointment and on the day of surgery exactly what he would be removing and re-implanting during the procedure from start to finish and I knew I was in good hands which is always a plus before you entrust a surgeon to make that first cut. I received first rate care from everyone I interacted with starting on the day of the initial consultation at his office as well as with the coordinator who scheduled the surgery, the nurses and Anesthetists on the day of the procedure at the River's Edge 1-Day Surgery Center and then back at the office for post-op care. My husband is in the medical field and looks for faults with providers and their staff but couldn't find any flaws with Dr. Lee and his team. It's been 3 weeks since surgery and I couldn't be happier with the end results as compared to what I had prior to surgery. If you are in need of plastic surgery I highly recommend Dr. David Lee and his awesome team.
