I had a relatively complicated case that included termination during a medical leave, stock options, a bonus that was not defined properly, and other factors. Further, they had to atke over the case from a lawyer I had tried to work with in the months before, who was not getting results, which makes their job more complicated. They are both intelligent strategists, and have excellent communication skills. I left my last lawyer for being vague, slow to respond, and uninformative. These guys are fantastic--not only in easing your mind by knowing the status of your claim(s), but because their stratgies are sound and they explain why they choose each of their strategies. With any law case, you'll have some facts to choose from to use or not: I trust both of these guys to choose an appropriate strategy to win. Yesterday, they won my case, and in a timeline I really did not anticipate. That is, they've won in my favor on a faster timeline than I expected. I can't thank them enough and I would recommend them to anyone who was an employee and needs to go through the sometimes unpleasant process of claiming what is rightfully owed to them. Spain is a very expensive country to ship from, I got discouraging quotes from a number of places (DHL, Fed Ex, Voovit). But MBE has some kind of bulk deal with a shipping company that brought its price in way, way below anywhere else. You can get this rate at any MBE, there are several in Barcelona. The one on Roger de Lluria really did amazing work, though. A guy named Santiago, who I believe is the manager, helped us with every detail on short notice. They picked up the boxes at our house, repacked some delicates, and got them to the US quickly. Santi's English is excellent, and the entire staff was patient with us moving on their very busiest day of the year (July 31, when the country goes on vacation). I can't recommend them highly enough.

A motorbike hit me while I was cycling, and was completely at fault. I had significant damage to my…read moreteeth and stitches in my face, a broken wrist, a busted road bike. I'm not from here but am legal to be here, but my Spanish isn't sufficient to navigate the legal system. Blanca and her assistant Imanol (whose English is really good!) really helped me out. I had worked with another lawyer prior and had to sort of fire him because he did hardly anything, and I was an extremely organized client. Blanca was able to get me an amount that better reflected the costs inflicted and the amount of work hours I had to waste at doctor's appointments and related time obligations, as well as hours I couldn't work due to pain in my wrist, and a busted face. In fact, the offer she secured from the insurance company of the motorbike driver was more than 3x what the other lawyer had been offered (though the old lawyer that I had to fire at another company had not even bothered to tell me an offer had been made months before). I'd recommend her to anyone who needs a lawyer to help them with an insurance claim from an accident or to any other aspect of law that she works on. She is diligent, hard working, and detailed. She also had exceptional communication and set expectations with me appropriately.
