Harbor Marine Boat Service & Repair

We hired Emilio with Harbor Marine Boat Service & Repair to replace the tires on our boat trailer,…read morebelieving we were purchasing new tires that would be mounted on our existing rims. Instead, we received tires mounted on different rims, something we had not discussed or agreed upon beforehand. After installation, we discovered the tires had DOT date codes indicating they were manufactured in 2018--over eight years ago! We subsequently had the tires inspected by a boat trailer professional, who advised us that the tires were not new and that one was actually dry-rotted. We ended up purchasing new tires from Walmart and paying to have them installed, resulting in additional expense and considerable frustration. I have reached out to Emilio twice since the installation two days ago, but he has not responded to either attempt to contact him. Another concern is that Harbor Marine Boat Service & Repair advertises a Port Mansfield business address, but we were unable to locate a storefront at that address. We expected honest communication, quality products, and dependable service. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Based on what happened, I cannot recommend this business.

I've since heard similar stories about him not being reliable.
