Ya,
So I'm staying across the street at the Business Inn. It's 1:30am and I wanted to check out what is across the street because I can't sleep, and mostly everything is going to be closed tomorrow on Canada day.
I wanted to purchase to small items, which didn't have any prices on them. I got to the cash, and they came to $4.50, and I went to pay and only had 2 $100 bills because I left my purse at the hotel room and just had my phone/wallet.
They guy didn't even formulate a sentince, he just made a noise and shoved the electronic payment device on my because I guess he saw all my cards.
Even if he had just said, "oh I don't have enough bills to give you change" I would have understood. It's illegal to refuse Canadian currency. The guys attitude sucked.
That's my opinion. The store was pretty well stocked as another customer had reviewed. read more
