Such a fun experience! The only other group VR game I played was Sandbox VR in San Mateo, California. I really enjoyed this one with my family. There is a lot of room to run around, much bigger than Sandbox. You are far less likely to run into team members, but the walls are still there. Our game master Kike was very accommodating, giving us a briefing both in Spanish for my in-laws, and English for me. We felt like we had enough time to play and we were able to complete the room.
We played Singularity, which is a straightforward "kill the evil robots" shooter game. It was fun even for older non-gamer family members. Graphics for the enemies and environment were modern and quite good, with no lag. The only exception were that player avatars rendering looked really...wonky when you look at one another. You'll see your friends falling through the floor or making strange poses--In all honesty, having that was quite entertaining for me, and did not impact gameplay whatsoever. We all had a good laugh. At the end of the game, your stats are displayed on the monitor in the welcome room. It was super fun! I highly recommend Zero Latency if you happen to be visiting a country with one! They're in many European and Asian countries, as well as Saudi Arabia and Australia.
PS If I understood Kike correctly when he was explaining in Spanish, he said there were limited language audio options for the games. It doesn't really impact your experience too much because the game masters explain the premise of the game before you enter the room, and you can always ask for a pause and help if you need. read more
