I did Taekwondo at Zentro Academy for 3 years, and started at 7 years old. They have a huge open space, decent equipment and includes classes for ages 5+. The teacher Gabriel (6th Dan) is a good mentor, however if you ever stop doing Zentro, he insults you (chicken, wuss, etc) and laughs at you behind your back to the other students. The academy teaches 3 Korean martial arts: Taekwondo, Hapkido, and Kundo. The pricing is decent with ranging from $64 a month for one class a week to $124 a month for unlimited classes. However when you do gradings (moving up a belt) you have to pay a fee for your belt before the grading, this also means that you always move up no matter how good you are in the grading (or so i have seen on the website and at gradings)
My final verdict: This is a decent martial arts studio with a good teacher, that has a good price, but it isn't one of those places where you actually get graded on how good you are, you get graded on your experience. So yeah the place is good. read more
