Hair: I find the hair cutting quite good, but it really depends on the stylist. I always get a senior stylist since the junior ones here are not great. I've always been happy with my haircuts here, except they don't colour black hair like they do in Dublin salons, which is weird. They say they can't do it, but I've died my hair many colours in the Dublin salons. The beauty treatments here are great. Not too expensive, but the waxing can be a bit slow. However, they do nice facials, massages, body wraps and manicures. The inside of the salon is also really nice after the refurbished it, and I think it is the best and most popular one in Galway. PS: The salon is up a flight of stairs, no wheelchair access.

She left me for two hours with bleach!!!!! She also put plastic bag on my head!!!!!! After 2 hours she took me to the basins to get it washed off Then she applied 3toners ( root extremely yellow) My scalp burned!!!! after washed it off she took me to my seat and dryed my hair My hair literally flew everywhere, fell out with every blow of the dryer On top of my head i had hair 2cm long The rest was burned out My scalp was in agony really sore and started to swell up I spoke with owner she kept saying that it was normal that hair falls off after bleach She advised me to buy a good shampoo and something to rebuild my hair with the time and when hair is burnt out nobody could help She offer my 50euro if i will go fix my hair in some other haidresser shop!!!!!!! I asked for a full reconstruction treatment however she replied that my request were ridiculous and she was not going to pay for anything She offered me 50 euro kept saying,, it is normal that after bleach hair falling out in clumps TERRIBLE SHOP!!!!!!!

I happened upon this beauty clinic and they were able to instantly get me in for a manicure. I wish I had caught my nail artist's name because she was so nice, fun to talk to and did a wonderful job on my nails. I haven't had a manicure in such a long time and it was so pampering! It was a good price and the salon was very clean and nicely decorated. They offer many other services here which I'm sure are all wonderful.

I was offered a treatment that would also reduce the damage I accepted this. Fast forward a few hours later and my hair looked the exact same with no difference I still had roots. I went to pay and was given a bill for 163e when I questioned how this added up I was told I was actually given a T bar highlights and it should have actually cost 183e. When I asked why this wasn't told to me that the price hike from what I booked online would be so much I was told that the hairdressers only deal with hair not the money side of things. I was given a contact number for the manager Sarah and told to call her on Monday I gave three calls and left voice messages and an email and that is over 10 days ago now with no response. To add to this when I went home my scalp was out in angry red bumps and my hair is so dry after all the highlights I received that I did not even ask for the reason been only getting 10 to reduce this damage that my hair likely needs to be chopped up. I would highly recommend avoiding this hair salon trend unless you want to pay nearly 200e to look the same except with damaged hair. I'm not usually one to rate bad service but when no one came back to me via email or phone I was left with no choice.

Today, Wednesday, in the morning, my nails started peeling, even though Shellac is supposed to last up to a week, sometimes 3 weeks without chipping. Four out of ten nails are now ruined, completely peeled off, and I look stupid with half a manicure. Don't bother wasting money here, a home job will last just as long, look just as groomed and save you paying a fortune to someone who can't do their job properly.
