I love that this place has a drive through! My husband and I got chicken sandwiches with fries. He got the spicy chicken sandwich and I got the regular chicken sandwich. Their sauce is really good, it really makes the sandwich. The fries are also decently seasoned. But, fair warning: The portion for the sandwich and fries isn't so great when you're starving but the food is good! The first time my husband took me here, the service was excellent but we've been here 2-3 times since and the service hasn't been so great every other time we've been ): The last time we went, they made us park to wait for our food and we saw several cars behind us at the window get their food. We also saw several parked cars (at least 3) get their food before us although they've parked after us. My husband had to walk in and they so quickly grabbed our order and gave it to him. When I got the bag, the sandwiches weren't completely closed, the fries were extremely soggy & the bag looked like everything was just thrown in. I had to go inside and request for everything to be redone. My husband was so furious, he was so hungry and he didn't understand why we only ordered two sandwiches but waited as long as we did and saw people with bigger orders get taken care of. I couldn't argue with him. We understand people/places have off days and we're hoping that's all it was these last few times we went. I don't know when I'll go there again which saddens me because it's close by and it's some of the best chicken sandwich orders I've gotten at a fast food restaurant! I just have a couple questions for Zaxby's. Do you cook the chicken? Are they frozen? Where does it come from? Because truly this is the worst chicken I have ever tasted in my entire life (which is a long time). I could of gotten better chicken at McDonald's for half the price. Not only was the chicken absolutely appalling but I got the wrong drink. I asked for a sweet tea and they gave me a drink with no flavor. I couldn't even guess what drink it was, it was so bad. Placed an online order and was told it would be done at 7:38 pm. I knew it was busy and might go over so that was fine. I let them know my name at 7:48 and they told me it was not done. Once 7:58 comes around the lady ask for my name again and gives me a bag that's been sitting there for over 5 minutes. I asked her why she didn't call out this order like she did all the other ones and she said she just forgot. After asking for a manager and waiting another 5 minutes for slowly come out the back. She then showed no remorse over the situation at all and had a very nonchalant attitude. It definitely makes sense why the workers could care less. she only cared about getting the food back for the refund I got. She tried her best to make the refund out to be a hassle. So if you want to wait 25 minutes after your given Time to be done AND receive well below average customer service with attitude then this is your place! read more

I was really excited to try Zaxbys. The chicken wings were extremely dry like the Sahara and the seasoning seemed like it had one too many shakes. Add that to the 25 minute drive thru line & you might want to just keep driving. The kids meal was far better the wings. Just order kiddie fingerz & call it a day. read more

I placed an order on the app at 1:06pm, my order was slated to be done by 1:14pm, I arrived at the restaurant at 1:21pm called to let them know I was outside. I was informed that the systems were down and I had to wait AN HOUR for my food. I said nah just refund my card, I was told I would have to wait until later in the day as well for that. Since I was leaving to go to Nashville I said no I want my refund now as per the app says to go to the location. I asked to speak to a manager to get my refund and the manager denied my refund as well. Instead I had the cops called on my because, "I was the problem with the world". Left the restaurant after 3 cop cars came to "arrest me for trespassing". Got a call to say my money would be refunded, that was 11/6/2020. Today 11/12/2020, I call because I have not gotten a refund, I was told that the GM, said "it has been handled". This is the worst form of customer service EVER, I hope the building burns down!! read more

Visited this location for lunch. I have been here many times and never had an issue. I'm told you can not get a refund until you arrive with the card to get one which is fine. but my order was wrong twice. and the second time I was missing extra that I had to pay for. congrats on your horrible service today. i wish I caught the girls name who was working the window. absolutely said nothing the entire time except sorry when I had to go back. could have to made sure it was right the first go around. please correct this issue. While moving my daughter's family home in ft Campbell to their newly purchased home on the other side of Clarksville, about a 30 min drive, we stopped by this zaxbys to grab food to eat when we reached our destination. Our order came to $43.25, not a cheap order, but we love Zaxbys so it is worth it, which included an Asian Zalad with an extra dressing, love the citrus vinaigrette. When we reached our destination There was no dressing at all included. Because we were moving there was no option to drive right back so all others ate their fresh meal but I had to wait. After eating and unloading, about 3 hours, we drove back through the same Zaxbys, explained what happened and asked for a fresh zalad to include dressing. I also asked if I could have a replacement sweet tea to enjoy with my zalad. I was told they are not allowed to give me anything other than a fresh zalad. My original was with grilled chicken and was replaced with fried. All this to say I was very disappointed with the service. I live in Chattanooga and have never had bad service, not even anything missing to go back for, this store had NO customer service. Three people stood in the drive through area discussing the need for another sweet tea, is this really so expensive that I could not be compensated for their error and the hour round trip? I will continue to visit my local zaxbys but will not recommend this store. read more

Love your chicken, Staff is friendly but I find items are forgotten more than I would like also your sodas always seem kind of flat. I have only ever really had bad experiences with the drive thru. The inside usually goes well. This most recent time I realized that you guys forgot my fried pickles once I got home. (Yes I know I should of checked the bag.) I probably won't be eating Zaxby's again for a while at least not until covid blows over. read more

I am a Vet, Love Zaxbys- I actually know the owner of all the Zaxby's in , Clarksville, a very Promilitary person. He genuinely cares about the customer too. All that said, I eat here at least every other week, otherwise I'd get fat. The people who serve me don't know my relation to the owner and I can say it's almost always positive. If I've had an issue they were quick to fix or not charge me. If you ever have an issue, do not be afraid of contacting the manager at any of these locations. If you are a service member who wants to do an event, I know theses guys will give you huge breaks on large purchases(OPD/NCOPD/COC/COR)!!! read more

Okay- this is seriously on my top 5 places to eat. If you don't like chicken, this totally isn't the place for you. Seriously- that is all they have. 1.) The Zalad is delish- it is an enormous salad with grilled or fried chicken, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, and fried onions. I would probably shank my mom to get one. Yes, it is that good. It comes with two dressings, but I usually need 3. 2 for now and one for the rest I will take home for later. 2.) The fried potato chip things are nummers. Ask for them to be fried extra crisp (or else some will be soggy). The fried mushrooms are good, but the fried pickles aren't. I am hoping to try their new fried cheese soon. 3.) I haven't ever tried the wings, but my friends love them. Their fries are great, as is the Texas toast and the milk shakes are delish too. I went to Zaxby's expecting, well, chicken. I really don't consider white meat chicken fingers the real deal. So, maybe I'm being harsh due to my expectations. That said, I ordered a chicken fingers sandwich with a side of onion rings. The young lady behind the counter was helpful; when I told her what I thought Zaxby's was, she recommended another place down the road. I thought she was being generous so I decided to just deal with the food in front of me. The sandwich bread was greasy. I never had such shiny fingers just handling my sandwich. The chicken was okay. Not a fan of white meat. The onion rings were sub-par. Crispy and crunchy, but there was no onion taste. It was more the taste of the breading. I really like the taste of sweet onions, so I was bummed that there was no taste of onion. The place was clean. The people were friendly. And if you like white neat, well, there you go. I ordered the spicy mushroom app and the spicy chicken sandwich....omg hot moist chicken not on a bun but between 2 pieces of tx toast! It was like good grilled cheese bread but without the cheese ohh devil!! lol. And who knew fried mushrooms were a thing! Totally yummy both full of flavor ...this was a rich meal very rich ...not something I would recommend eating all the time lol next time I'll try their salads for sure! I loved it. Im not usually a big fan of any sort of chicken but it was all around great. My husband got the Zaxby's Club and he loved it, I got the Chicken Tender Platter and we also got a side of BBQ Boneless wings and all were great. I go here a lot. I love that ZaxSauce they have. I use it for everything on my plate and even get extra sauce. I always get the chicken finger plate with extra fries and no slaw, oh and that extra sauce!! The service is always good. Ok , Zaxbys is normally an acceptable place to dine in a pinch and their sauce is key - However as usual anything on the North Side of Clarksville is sketchy at best and usually appalling. Apparently the poor GI's who have to shop on this side of town aren't worth the effort of preparing decent food or providing decent service and the employees would just as soon urinate on your food as prepare it.. The Chicken was dry - over cooked and shriveled up and must have had 3 oz of salt poured on it , my fries were so salty as to also be inedible and the salt soaked toast was useless. At 10.00 I could have done El-Torro (one of North Clarksville's rare exceptions) and had hot fresh chicken Fajitas , perfectly seasoned with pico de gaio(sp) , rice re-fried beans , guacamole, onions and peppers and in a portion large enough for 2 meals.
