There is a big housewares collection and a ton of sweaters - usually things I can't resist - but on that particular day I didn't find too much. My rating is not really based on that though, that's par for the course when digging at thrift shops. What I did find though, I thought was over-priced, and though the staff were all super nice they were deeply slow, maybe just not used to dealing with the sudden costume-hunting crowds.

They also have a selection of beads if you are into making your own jewelry. They had a small selection of wooden barettes and wooden rings as well. The staff member who was there when we visited was helpful and showed me numerous pieces. I ended up purchasingone ring and I am very satisfied with it. I found most of the prices quite reasonable and my friend was able to negotiate with the staff member for a better deal on a bag. The exchange was refused, even though the item was unused and the request was reasonable. What was most upsetting was the rude and dismissive attitude of the staff when I calmly explained the situation. I understand store policies, but customer service should also include courtesy and basic understanding. Given the circumstances, I believe some form of compensation (such as a store credit or exception exchange) would be appropriate to acknowledge the poor customer experience.
