This was my first time at Zara! I was here to buy a winter jacket that was a little less bulkier than what I already had. The men's section is in the second floor and they have quite a collection!
It took me a while to nail down on what I wanted exactly. The folks at the cash section are helpful and well organised.
I took my purchase Home and used it the next day. I really liked the fit and was content with the warmth that the jacket gave me.
After a week of usage, I suddenly found that the stitches had worn out on one side. This was odd. I've heard of Zara's quality. I was frankly disappointed. But I've heard that such issues are not uncommon with mass produced goods.
I went back the next day, and they were more than glad to give me a refund or an exchange.
I chose to take a return, which they promptly serviced back in cash.
I then went around the store to find another jacket. I found a different jacket and went ahead to pay for it. I stepped out, walked around for a minute and found that I didn't like this as much as the previous one. I headed back to the store asking if I could exchange it. They said that it's not company policy. But after I requested them, the staff was very courteous and allowed to me to exchange this back for the original style I had taken.
This was what impressed me. I am a fashion noob and hence had no clue what I really wanted.
They went above and beyond to satisfy me. I'll definitely come back here for my future purchases. read more
