The first floor is only german comics. the basement is full of belgian / french comics. The guy (I suppose the owner) really knows everything about every comic. The lady who works there is also very good in giving advice. She is so passionated about the comics. It is really worth it to go once and snoop around. And if you are a comic reader you have to go for sure !! The prices are really reasonable and affordable.

Stocked with everything you'd expect from a comic book store in the States, Kabooom offers all the major monthly titles from DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, etc., as well as a respectable assortment of trade paperbacks, collectibles, and even gaming supplies. It would be a nice addition to virtually any American metropolitan area, but in Central Europe it is a very welcome anomaly, especially for those of us who suffer from comics deprivation when we've been gone too long. The owners are very helpful and knowledgeable and, quite obviously, are fluent in English. A tad oddly, the shop also offers travel services and the location requires a bit of extra travel and local knowledge (or solid GPS), but it is well worth the extra effort. Be sure to stop by and pick up a couple of books or a Pop! Or two.

My partner and I are really disappointed with our recent experience ordering from Kaboom…read more We pre-ordered product from the Magic the Gathering Final Fantasy set well in advance, specifically choosing Kaboom because it's a brick-and-mortar LGS. Supporting local game stores matters to us -- even when it means paying slightly more than from online retailers. Unfortunately, our order was cancelled less than two weeks from launch day, with the explanation that Kaboom weren't receiving their guaranteed allocation. It has taken 12 days for the refund to clear, which has left us significantly out of pocket, with no opportunity to secure the product elsewhere without paying grossly inflated prices. If you couldn't guarantee the product, you should not have allocated it for pre-order. At the time you cancelled the order, every other LGS in the country had already sold out. I understand that distribution problems happen. But our agreement was with you. Not with WoTC, not with your distributor, or your suppliers. The timing of the cancellation, and the delay in processing the refund, were solely your responsibility -- and they've left us feeling let down and frustrated. We wanted to support a local business. Instead, we're walking away disappointed,without what we ordered, and instead of being excited on release day, we're now very sad with no new product to open. Regardless of your LGS status, we won't be ordering from you again. You've really let us down.

Maybe not everyone speaks a perfect English there, but you find a distinct part of the shop dedicated to English books, comics, magazines and zeitgeist unavailable elsewhere. Price-wise everyone finds something from the small budget to the high-end collector or the one who is desperately looking for a special birthday gift such as a playboy magazine from the 70'.

There are comic books in mostly German but some in English and the entirety of the first floor is filled with them. You take a small spiral staircase up to the second floor which is filled with records, art, collectables, and spray paint products.
