I recently moved to Greensboro and had my first visit to Zapien's Salon last month. Went again this month for my second visit. I can highly recommend Norman at Zapien's Salon! The salon is lovely and you feel welcome when you walk in the door. Norman was great at recommending what color I should use and he did an amazing cut on my long hair. I have moved 13 times and had many different stylist and Norman is one of the best I have been to! He is creative and I'm sure the other stylist are as well! If your new to town or just looking for a change I would say give Zapien's a try! read more

What a gem in Greensboro! When I first got here I went to another salon for a color touch up. I walked in blonde and left darker with a green tint to my hair and red down the back... horrific! Someone recommended Katherine at Zapien's. She, her asst, and Norman (the owner) took painstaking care to get it back. They spent four and a half hours working on my hair and fixed it! Norman said my haircut was so bad he insisted on fixing that too without charge! I haven't had a trim like that since I lived in NYC or LA. Absolute precision. Norman trained in NYC and London. Zapien's is the best hair salon in the lake area hands down! Everyone there is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. I have never had anything drastic down to my hair, but Renata knew exactly what to say to calm me down and knew the right decisions to make even when I didn't. I got a balayage and long layers. Although it was a little pricey, it was definitely worth it. The balayage looked so natural and subtle. My hair looks beautiful and so healthy now! Can't say enough about the staff at this salon! From the moment I walked in until I walked out I was pampered like never before. Norman is a color magician! I walked in as a blonde and came out with the most beautiful auburn color just in time for fall. I have had so many compliments and have been told it has taken years off my appearance. Rinata is just amazing. She does a great job on my men's hair cut and also a great job on my wife's cut and color. Fun to talk to and a great result, how do you beat that!
