And I got to wonder how complete the colonoscopy was done when only one photo was provided. But back to their major problem. Their administration/management is a trainwreck. They got sold a "bill of goods" on a new medical admin system and if you call to make an appointment, the system asks you lots of time-wasting questions and fails to follow through on texting you a code. And it lies to you saying you'll be connected to a live agent after answering the questions. You never are. Then, if you go to their website to make an appointment, the chat system also equally fails and leaves you hanging.

Instead of resolving the issue, he left me in unbearable pain--pain so severe it's not tolerable for any human being. It has now been over a year since this disastrous surgery, and I'm still dealing with the devastating consequences he caused. Because of his incompetence, I've had to spend over 10 times more than I originally paid to try to fix the damage he left behind. I will never forgive him for what he put me through. He left me with so many problems and showed no accountability or care for my suffering. Throughout my visits, he appeared scared and unsure of himself, clearly lacking confidence in his abilities. He has no business treating patients, let alone performing surgery. If you value your health and well-being, stay as far away from this man as possible. Choosing him was the biggest mistake of my life, and I hope no one else has to endure what I went through.

So I wanted to schedule an appointment with this group. The doctor reviews are good…read more I never successfully scheduled an appointment. There AI Veronica hangs up on you and starts to text. Then the agent does not respond and the chat times out. The system is terrible. You cannot speak to a live person. They are supposed to call you back but they never did. They just texted with a response that they were busy. It took 45 mins to not be able to schedule an appointment. I would look into this if I were you. I know I clicked on your sponsor ads. And they cost money per click. Maybe answer and schedule then get all the information you need. I'm not sure they want new customers. They lost me.

So, I wasn't overly impressed with this office. I read the…read morereviews online and I have to say I now understand most of the negative ones. I appreciate how quickly they scheduled me, but that's about my only positive thing to say. I paid by specialist copay- looking at the EOB of charges submitted- they bill out the plastic device that keeps your butt cheeks open as a "procedure" vs included in the damn visit- thus- it's applied to your deductible for the full cost($157). If you see a butt doctor, the devices used to look at your butt should be included in the exam charges- not billed out as a procedure. Nothing was performed other than an exam. Whatever, I'll eat that cost. Lesson learned. What bothers me most is that I needed to schedule an extremely invasive surgery. I was told to take 3-4 weeks off work due to the pain. I get an email asking if I would like to schedule- I said I spoke with my insurance/I also work in medical billing, and a predetermination of benefits is REQUIRED by my insurance. I was told they will NOT SEND THE PREDETERMINATION until 7-10 days before the surgery. " Our financial services that we provide prior to procedures include running an estimate of benefits 7-10 days prior to your procedure. This is our procedure that we follow for all patients, and we have not heard of any issues thus far. If you wish to contact your insurance company separately for more information, I am happy to provide you with the appropriate codes for you to do so" I need to know how much my OOP is WELLLLLL before the WEEK of my surgery. And if I couldn't afford the surgery fee- but didn't find out until a few days before the scheduled surgery- I'd be hit with a late cancellation fee. I've had other surgeries before- a predetermination is always made well in advanced so the patient can make an informed decision. The billing practices and the doctor saying "ew that's gross" vs telling me what actually was happening to me are the reasons I'm not giving them thousands of dollars. I will spend my time and money on an honest practice. I'm sure I'll get a snarky response back on why IM the problem like so many others. I work in your industry, guys, and I'm appalled.

Based on reviews we were slightly hesitant to see the recommended doctor from the hospital (was NOT…read moreimpressed with the hospital I was sent to) However, I broke my humerus shaft after being bucked off my horse out on the trail. Generally I do not come this far for medical services, but Dr. Highfill was the recommendation from the hospital I went to as the fall happened at the Nokesville Park. Dr. Highfill was professional, humble and personable. He was patient and waited for my responses and made a point to ask/investigate previous injuries I had with curiosity. He had a sense of humor that many need in a time of uncertainty. He gave me both options for the repair of my arm and did not try and persuade me one way or the other. However, given my demand to be active again I went with surgery to repair the arm. Which was scheduled the following day. Dr. Highfill came in prior to surgery to let me know everything they were planning to do and the layout of recovery. Warning me of any possibilities during surgery, etc. Again, his sense of humor came into play and made the experience pleasant when warning me how effective the block on my arm would be. Surgery was efficient and while I have plenty of mending to do as the surgery was just yesterday (4/11/17) I am VERY happy with Dr. Highfill being the performing surgeon on my arm and I'd highly recommend him. Even based on previous reviews of this Doctor I did not witness any of the behavior listed negatively in other reviews.

This had to be the worst experience I have ever had in a doctor's office. I took my mother in because she is having a lot of sever pain in her knee that started suddenly about four weeks ago. He left us in the exam room almost an hour without anyone saying anything to us. I opened the door to see if anyone knew we were still there. The nurse asked if he had come in yet and I said no. About 30 seconds later he burst into the room and started telling my mother what the problem was without even listening to her. He was saying that a scratch on her knee was due to he falling on her knee and that was the problem. I told him he was not listening, the scratch is a week old, the knee pain is a month old so it could not be causing the knee pain. He then that "she is just old and she needs to walk on the knee more". I told him she could not walk on the knee when she is in that much pain. He said that some people are just more wimps than others and looked at my mother for a reaction. He said there was nothing that could be done short of a full knee replacement. He opened the door and said "we'll get that for your mother." I asked what will we get her? He said a follow-up appointment. I asked him why we would do that, you just said that there is nothing that could be done and that she is just an old wimp. He said "well, we can look at it again in a couple of months". I only wish I could give a zero rating.

I've had joint/knee issues for a majority of my life (loose ligaments, bunions, carpel tunnel…read morehotness, every joint in my body cracking for no reason, obscure double jointedness but not in a cool kind of way, etc.) and his reccomendation wasn't unnecesary surgery, it was proper excercise. I'm a runner, I lift weights, and I love hiking - prior to Dr. Gluck general practioners said, "well, just do no impact excercises" to which i replied, "i don't understand". I was prepared with this entire explanation of how low/no impact excercise simply wasn't an option for me, and i didn't even need it. Apparently, excercise (in my case) actually HELPS with my loose ligaments, wouldn't you know, building the muscles around the areas which support those ligaments is actually better than complete neglect? I have to go back to him to get a Doctor's note to get an ergonomic keyboard and mouse for work (to match my pocket protector and horned rim glasses), and am glad to do so. Also, the location is right around many other doctors as well as the PW hospital, so depending on what you need, it's possible to knock out a few doctors appointments in one day (particularly if you don't work anywhere near manassas and driving out there to go to the doctor is a pain).
