This is a fantastic hotel! Remember that this hotel is in an area where (American) tourists usually don't go. So, yes, it is geared more towards Turkish patrons but that's like asking a small town in Kansas to be geared towards European tourists.....let's be reasonable. I had no trouble communicating with the staff here because they were genuinely interested in understanding me and making sure my stay here was the best it could be. That's that Turkish hospitality for ya :) The hotel was clean and nicely decorated but the best part was the food. Particularly a chef there named Olcay (pronounced Ole-j-eye). He is a very talented chef but he came over to our table because he knew we were from out of town. He was very welcoming and kind. He spoke with us about the impeccable food he prepared and turkish customs and culture.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveller willing to step outside the touristy scene. Make sure you get a chance to chat with Olcay and experience what a gifted chef he is. read more
