Innumerable maki with every permutation of ingredient they have in house (minus algae salad). Miso soup probably DID have miso paste in it but I've never seen so many mushrooms (which made the soup thick and brown and colored the tofu). Overly salty and absent any wakame. Maybe an NYC 2/5.

Had great convo with him about American politics. Ambiance - was pretty chill. Went towards the end of lunch time so there weren't many people hence I didn't have to wait long for my orders. Provided me with an English menu since I don't speak or read French. Service was fast and the food was very fresh. By far one of the best all you can eat sushi restaurants I've ever been to. The place does have some bad reviews but I see nothing wrong here personally. I travel all over the US and Canada for work and I've been to many places to eat. This place has great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Make sure you plan a visit here soon.

I do not recommend if you are on a tight schedule as you might find the service long, especially on Friday nights. Also, parking is an issue in that area. We don't mind the service being long since it gives us time to catch up on any updates. As for the food, expect quality over quantity. It is not an all you can eat restaurant. It was also not very hot. I do not recommend the udon. I have heard better things about the sushi from online reviews so perhaps give that a try. Then they brought over a tea pot, a single tea cup, and three plastic cups. What kind of Japanese place doesn't have tea equipment? With that said, I appreciate the effort in getting us what we asked for. The service was good. The ambiance is a modern sushi bar, it was nice.

I came here for an experience at Quebec City Japanese food. My decision was to try the spicy ramen with some sushi as backup. The ramen was fresh and full of fresh vegetables but man. This place needs to learn about ramen broth. Probably one of the worst ramen soups I've had in quite some time. The broth had absolutely no flavour. I'm no ramen expert, I have been to various cities in Japan and sampled a good amount of bowls of ramen but this my friends was orange water with a light spice flavour with noodles and vegetables. As my mother taught and told me not to waste food I ate it. The sushi was the only redeeming quality about the meal. It was chef's choice 10 pieces but it was actually pretty good. A large variety of salmon, cucumber, shrimp and some spicy rolls, it's one of he better sushi rolls I've had in the province of Quebec. Sushi has improved quite a bit in Quebec in the last few years and this is an excellent example. Fresh flavorful, excellent texture and presentation. I'd come again for this. Maybe I ordered the wrong ramen but what I ordered I wouldn't again. Price for the meal is not super expensive as its clientele is mostly students. Also it's in a quasi-food court.
