We got in line at about 11am, and were eating shortly thereafter. We got the lunch special, both getting a half bird. We sat at a covered picnic table and chowed down! The chicken was delicious; nicely seasoned, charred a bit on the grill, and juicy. It was great! Sides were just so-so. I got the rice with pigeon peas which didn't taste like much, and the plantain salad, which I was previously unfamiliar with and interested in trying. It was pretty unripe plantains with onions and cilantro. Just OK. This was the place to be on Easter Sunday! The line got way longer after we arrived and they probably had 200 chickens cooking! A good spot and definitely worth a stop

I personally know the owners mother and when I was little my family use to come to the house and spend the day at the beach. She use to cook for us delicious food.
