Lukewarm manicure and very poor customer service…read more When I left A Hands and Feet Boutique my nails looked decent, although I would think twice before getting shellac here as my black polish came out transparent and patchy. No soak, no massage, no cuticle oil all for $35. I essentially received a polish change for the price of a spa manicure. There was a miscommunication regarding the service provided and price paid because I left feeling like I overpaid. I got in my car and decided to check the price list online again, after which I called to inquire about the discrepancy on my drive home. I was treated with incredible disrespect over the phone. It's clear to me the team of aestheticians (a mother and her daughters) foster the mentality of a catty and self-important sorority rather than a professional establishment that has been in practice for nine years. Go here if you are desperate and have no other choice.

Hands and Feet Boutique is a cute little place with great prices. I love their wide selection of…read morepolishes and their incredibly comfortable pedicure chairs. The staff was friendly, too, which is always a great thing! As for my reasoning for a 3 star review: -Although the staff was friendly, I felt that one gal was a little too invasive at times. While I enjoy having conversations with everyone, this particular woman commented on EVERYTHING my friend and I said to one another (we were doing a side-by-side pedicure). It was fine at first, but after a while, it was invasive and borderline nosy. -During my manicure, I noticed a bottle of Malibu under the table. While I have nothing against drinking (I'm also a fan of Malibu), I don't feel that drinking on the job is a smart thing to do. It's also highly unprofessional and lost a lot of respect for that woman. Who knows? It may have served a decorative purpose, but the fact that it was tucked under the table left little to the imagination.

I came in again today to see James at Do Crew Salon and knew I just had to leave a review. I have…read morenaturally curly hair. My daughter has long, thick, very curly hair. We like to keep our hair straight and sleek but could never find anyone skilled at flattening curls while keeping shine and softness. We tried countless salons and even tried our luck at DryBar as that is what they are known for. But no one could ever seem to take out the poof and we were always left disappointed. Then we met James at Do Crew Salon. My hair has never been so soft and sleek; I did not think it was possible. My daughter's hair is smooth and looks like she was born with straight hair; he did what we were starting to loose faith was even possible. The atmosphere is upscale but also so comfortable and peaceful. James is easy to talk to, takes great care to give you exactly what you ask for, and I felt comfortable and trusted him right off. He immediately knew how to fix the gold tint to my daughter's chunky highlights and corrected the color for her seamlessly. On the other hand, I am in the midst of growing out my natural grey and He was able to provide tips and products to help along the way. My daughter can't wait for a calico color with him next and we will both be weekly customers as long as him and Do Crew Salon will have us because he was able to do with our very curly hair what no one else in town has been able to! Also, the Sea Change Amethyst Oil is a game changer; my hair stays sleek and smooth all week and it never makes it greasy like other oils did. The last thing I want to say is I have always been someone who swung between hating and just tolerating my hair. Since James, I can actually say I love my hair for the first time in my life.

I can't comment on the quality of their work but I am extremely turned off for multiple reasons. We…read moremade a reservation for a bridal party of 8. Reservation was made two weeks in advance. The man told us he would book us and try to get all his nail techs in to help us get through faster then took down our number to call with any issues. When we didn't hear of any issues and all showed up, the same man proceeded to tell us that he didn't have any reservation and didn't know what we were talking about. When we insisted that we called for the reservation he admitted that yes, he knew what we were talking about and "not sure what happened about calling us back". I'm not upset that they weren't able to take our reservation but I am upset about that he tried to lie about it and make us look like we didn't prepare. After a few words, he finally reluctantly said "sorry". And that was it. If you made a mistake, just admit it and apologize. Also, the place was vey old, dirty, and not a normal salon looking place. We waited 5-10 minutes in the waiting area before finally going back to find someone to greet us. I think the guy knew we were there (had to have heard us all come in and talking) and realized his mistake and therefore didn't want to come to terms with his mistake. Very frustrated with such bad service for our friends big wedding weekend.
