If you can't depend on someone returning a call or text, how can you depend on completing the project on time or at all.

He couldn't finish my project and have been making excuses to not give my deposit back. Hired Matt Tuft from Tuft Guy Services on Thumbtack to put together a playset for the kids. Gave $150 deposit on first visit because he said he need to pay his helper. He did not complete the project on the first visit and said would be back the next day to finish everything up. Turns out next day turn into 3 weeks of excuses and cancelations from him, did a terrible job with some safety concerns on the half finished playset(had to rehire someone and start over). Now he won't return my money.
