The whole team is courteous, they have good ideas for design and plenty of choices for the tile, coping and finishes, and they go the extra mile to make sure the whole area is perfect (for example, repairing an adjacent wall even though it's not part of the pool work). Besides that we needed surrounding concrete demoed and replaced with pavers, and also needed back cinder block wall demoed and rebuilt. I cannot say enough good things about Brian, Carlos and their team. I got a personal recommendation from a family friend when I mentioned that I wanted to put in a pool. The friend was not wrong. From the beginning when I just knew I wanted a pool to the last final days of construction they were on the ball. They help guide me when I didn't know what I wanted and were very accommodating when I kept thinking of all the little fine-tuning items I wanted to add here and there. I told them I wanted a lap pool to train for Triathlons and an oasis to relax from work at. They nailed it on all fronts. They were great at telling me the things I did not want to waste my money on and at the same time suggesting the things I really would want. In the end, I got an amazing backyard oasis complete with pavers, artificial turf, and outdoor cooking area and the most amazing pool you could ask for. Their eye for detail is amazing and their thoughtfulness is top notch. When I asked Brian about my concerns that the artificial turf might get too hot for my dogs' feet, he told me not to worry they would make sure there were going to run some sprinkler lines out so I could wet down the grass on hot days to make sure the dogs did not burn their feet. The two owner showed up to get the checks and ask how the pool was going. Two days they had a group of workers. I believe there was only one worker. The quality is good. The value was about the same as everyone else. I would most likely use them again. The where good not great. They left some trash in the backyard not a lot. I had to very slowly vacuum the pool. A lot is sand gravel. So, they are good enough I would use them again. Not great. read more

A total nightmare but thankfully, YPS stepped in and provided the care, comfort, and solution that our situation needed. They fixed our deteriorated plumbing, replaced the skimmer (the cause of the leak), updated the electrical for our pool equipment (it was not to code), and performed pool tiling, replastering, and coping. Took longer than expected but there was a reason for it. Every time they finished something it looked so good we kept adding things. Originally we were just doing a pool resurfacing but after demo and watching YPS getting ready for mini pebble we decided we should do the deck which then made it a good idea to redo plumbing while we were there. Every time we asked for something Carlos and Brian were helpful and accommodating. They made it possible for us to get the pool we actually wanted. The crew they use was always professional and detailed in everything they did. They even added extra little details we had not thought of. Communication was great. We were in a group text the whole time and they answered my text even late in the evening. This was comforting as this has been our biggest home project yet so we were nervous. They were not the cheapest but also far from the most expensive quotes we got. They were fair and since you get what you pay for we got professional service and beautiful work. From the first meeting about our extensive project to the final day of completion we were continuously assured that WE GOT YOU! My wife and I are absolutely thrilled with the beautiful transformation that YPS Pool Services accomplished. We had a total renovation of our existing pool. A completely newly constructed hot tub that we designed together to replace the old cracked and out of date hot tub. They moved the location of the pool equipment and installed new equipment, completely new pool plumbing lines, electrical system, LED lights and yard lighting. We had mini pebble done for the pool surface and a new salt system too! There were grading and excavation changes too. The old layout had various levels and we decided to make the whole back yard one level that flows so perfectly. They completely demoed the entire back yard surface and replaced the old cracking cement with gorgeous pavers. The value that was added to our property after this upgraded entire back yard is huge. YPS is versatile in so many construction areas that we hired them to install a new roof. It is just beautiful and was done with an extremely experienced excellent crew that took unbelievably good care of us. Oh, and another thing. While we were having our project done, our HVAC died. So, of course Brian and Carlos said WE GOT YOU! And had a family member come out and gave us a great bid and put in a brand-new Carrier system. The house gets as cold as a meat locker in 2 minutes. Brian and Carlos transformed our backyard from "it's nice" to "wow you live at a resort". Every little detail was thought out. To say this is a pool company is discrediting them as they also managed the drainage for the yard, put in a sump pump and new pipes, replaced all the gas lines to the heater, installed 3 new pumps for the pool water features, automated everything controlled by an app on my phone. They added up-lighting for my palm trees which they also replanted, they took my mock up of what i wanted and replicated it exactly. New coping, brand new tile, often times suggesting things that would make it better like doing an all tile hot tub/spa and putting an infinity edge and overflow catch all the way around. They re-did the plaster, the decking which is all hand done individually stamped pavers and high quality turf in a diamond pattern and as you can see gives the yard a classic look. They made sure the leveling was done precisely and that the turf areas would last and looked beautiful. They even installed an auto fill so i don't have to come out and fill up the pool, didn't even know that was a thing. The water features.... Ohhh the water features. It looks like the Bellagio in Vegas had a little sister. Four fountains, 2 bubblers out of the Baja shelf, a waterfall that is sheer descent but can have mid to high spillover from the spa ledge has well based on the jets and blower. When everything is running it looks like an oasis, but we live here!! They did such a good job and quickly and efficiently that my other contractors doing my house saw the pool being done and hired them on the spot for multiple jobs. Don't want to fight over cabanas at the local pool at the Beverly Hills hotels? Don't want to drive down to Palm Springs, or have to get on a plane to Hawaii? Call these guys, thank me later.
