We hired "You've Got Maids" after a not so good experience with another service, where the prior service knocked over a picture, broke the frame and damaged the wall and did not fix/pay for the damage. Raul, the owner, stopped by for a quote and ensured us that if that were ever to happen in their case, they would promptly offer to fix/pay for the damage and reiterated the superior cleaning service that they offer while noting several areas in need for improvement and that their service would clean. He cautioned that they offered a premium service and would charge a higher rate than most. At this point my wife and I felt that it was a perfect match. We wanted a thorough cleaning service and would not mind paying for it. We opted for a bi-weekly schedule. Our first service was not the best. They rushed to complete it; they left a cleaning paste on our kitchen countertops, didn't vacuum the first floor rugs and didn't dust the first floor at all. After we mentioned it to them, they offered to clean it again but we had already cleaned up the remaining items. The second cleaning, the maids left a big gash on the top lip of our stainless steel, farmhouse style sink. If it were the bottom of the sink, we'd understand a little more (it's a sink!). I took pictures and sent them to the owners. Within a few days, they inspected the damage and said that they would make it right by fixing it. My wife and I believe in second chances, and after all, mistakes happen. The most important thing to us is that the owners of the service were going to make it right. Almost a month later, no repairs were made. On our fourth service, the maids that serviced our house scratched the lip again. Additionally, they cleaned our stainless steel stovetop with an abrasive medium, like a scrub sponge, scratching up the entire surface. We brought this up with the owners yet again but were met with a different type of attitude. They said that they were going to inspect the damage but never did. They told us on two separate occasions that they have 350 customers / do ~150 cleanings a week where this has never happened before. They believed that since it's "never" happened before, it could never happen. We were hoping to grow our relationship with this company but they chose not to believe or work with us. Mistakes happen; we were just hoping they were going to work with us on the damage they caused. Needless to say, we ended our relationship with You've Got Maids four cleanings in. We just hope this never happens to any of their 349 customers or any new customers they take on. Then again, it shouldn't, since it's never happened before. read more

Do NOT hire this maid service company!. I was charged $422 for a deep clean, and I can not begin to detect nor can I comprehend what had truly been cleaned other than the floors. The maids that arrived were unorganized and moved extremely slow to clean the entire house. I believed they moved slowly and unmethodical because the services are based on a hourly rate. What should have taken 2 hours took 3 hours maybe longer for these ladies to complete. I would highly suggest seeking other maid service companies within the Houston area before hiring You got Maids. I honestly feel like I just got ripped!! $422!!!! I don't see $422 worth of maid service I am being honest and sincere when I say this. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!! I requested the service of "You've got Maids," over the phone and talked to an employee named Crystal. I needed assistance in picking up trash on the curbside, cleaning the house, and getting rid of some leftover clothes in bedroom. Crystal told me that they could assist me and gave me the option of hiring 2 or 3 maids. I decided on 3 maids and we agreed that they would come work on 9/16/19. After we confirmed the appointment, Crystal asked to have my credit card number and so I gave it to her. During the morning of 9/16/19, Crystal called me back and told me that the 3 maids can only pick up 5 small bags of trash, and asked me if I was okay with that. I told her I was confused as to why she hadn't let me know earlier, when I had made the first phone call, but she kept insisting that they can only pick up 5 small bags of trash. I told them to go ahead and start cleaning, since they had already arrived on the site, and I could not have been given a full refund. My house is small, only 1300 SF. After they completed their work, they sent me an invoice $606.20, which is the price of 4 maids, not 3 maids. Additionally, when I visited the site, I realized that they had just put all the trash in the garage without putting them in garbage bags first. They also didn't clean all the blinders and the range hook was still dirty. I called Crystal back and asked her why she charged me for an extra maid without informing me first. She apologized, but told me she could not adjust the price. I then spoke to her manager, who told me that she and her husband could not do anything about the price change. She also threatened me she said she would get an attorney. I feel like this price was unfairly charged and that their quality of service was not at all close to my level of expectation. I had a mess on my hands in my condo as cleaning had been neglected for a long time and in addition a lot of paper on the floor needed to be picked up. I am no longer able to do a lot of stooping and bending. I called and made an appt for them to come by and clean my place up. They arrived on time and three of them entered and things started flying. After clearing all the paper off the floor, they started in on the cleaning. They work very hard and don't waste any time. The cleaners did a job I am giving a C grade, but my rating is for the customer service. Many areas were missed and I didn't have time to sit around and wait for them to return another day. I received an email to get $50 off a deep cleaning. Once the service was completed and I saw the charge on my statement the total was WAY more than I expected. I called over the weekend and received a follow up call on Monday. The lady called me then put me on hold for too long, so I hung up. When I finally was able to speak to her she said sorry I had you on hold for a while I was looking up your account. My question is why font would have the information in front of you when you are calling me. Anyway, she stated she forgot to place the discount and I would get a refund. Then she stated the cleaners were actually there longer but we didn't charge you the extra minutes. Mind you, I had a 3 hour cap, they were late and only here 2 hrs 55 min. The supposed policy is if they are going over the cap time I would receive a call to see if I wanted to continue. Needless to say I never received a call because they did not go over. When I stated the cleaners' start and stop time the lady just says okay well we refunded your $50. Once I was off the call I received a receipt. They knew what they were doing. We used the service and had a few concerns. That happens sometimes. However, they did not follow up and today they seem to be having difficulty with their phone system. They also haven't responded to information left with their answering service. So the net is- 3 cleaners worked on a small home and left dirty floors and tasks undone. I would have liked to speak with the business to resolve the concern, but this does not seem likely to happen. I see from other reviews that other customers have had good experiences, so perhaps it was simply the crew in question or the fact that it was a late afternoon appointment and there was a time crunch. The two women who came to clean my house were so kind, thorough and accommodating of my hyper chihuahua. The house was left so nice and clean and they were incredibly efficient. I appreciate that they were able to squeeze me into the schedule because my house was a disaster after several weeks of travel. They cleaned my bathroom, living room, bedroom and kitchen. I will definitely be using them again regularly in the future for general cleaning and special events. So, this was my first time using a cleaning service. I searched for days trying to find the right company to fit my house needs. Well, after reading You've Got Maids 52 point check list, I was sold. Needless to say, they do not follow the " 52 point list ". Two maids arrived at their scheduled time without no introduction. They rung my doorbell and when I opened the door, they just stared at me. Honestly, if they didn't have their business logo on their shirts, I wouldn't have let them in. Apparently, there was a communication barrier which was one reason why they did not introduce theirselves. I have to say, those two ladies did absolutely nothing. They were there for 2 hours and my house still was in the same condition before they "deep cleaned". I'll have to say that I keep my house in pretty good condition for the most part. I will say the owner was very helpful because when I called and complained, he came to my house to do a walkthrough. After the walkthrough , he was also disappointed in the terrible work his maids did. So, we rescheduled for another group of maids to come out for my second "deep clean". I will say, these maids were a lot nicer and communicated well. I wouldn't say I was mind blowed at their work, but it was better than the last maids. I'll give this group of maids a 7/10. Only because i still had to tell them to clean the air vents and some other places in the house which is included in the "deep clean". However, what really made me furious was that the maids lied about the time they spent cleaning my home! I received an email for a charge of $194. I texted the owner and he never replied. So, I called the company this morning to ask what was the time that the maids documented for the cleaning of my home. The lady at the front desk told me 2 hours. The maids stated they got to my home at 0820 and left at 1020. Per my cameras, the maids arrived at 0832. The cleaning didn't start till 0840 because we did a walkthrough and talked about what I wanted clean. The cleaning was 1 hour and 40 mins and not 2 hours. Now granted, it was only 20 mins that they lied about. However, it's just the principle of the situation. Would not recommend at all! read more

I called You've Got Maids with a last-minute request for a deep clean. Most importantly, Patricia and Naomi (Purple Team) did such a great job. The house was a townhome with a lot of nooks and crannies, and they made it sparkling clean. It was not an easy job and I was so impressed with their work ethic (so efficient!), attitude, and how great of a job they did! They did everything I asked for and more. I've hired a few different cleaning services before and what stood out about You've Got Maids was their attitude. Everyone I spoke with was so friendly and understanding of the fact that I wanted a next-day appointment. My brother and sister-in-law had just had a baby and I wanted to hire maids to clean their place as a surprise. The staff remembered every detail about my request which I thought was so sweet. They also offer to come back within 24 hours of the service for free if anything is not to your satisfaction. Also, the front office was in constant communication with me about the fact that the clean would take longer than expected (which would increase the price) and asked if I wanted to limit the amount of time in order to save money. We've been using You've Got Maids for about 6 weeks and are so happy with their service! They are prompt, efficient (2-3hrs to clean 3k sq ft) and are thoughtful about the little details. They do all the usual cleaning and go a step further by organizing my daughters books on the coffee table, for example. I love coming home on cleaning days to the clean non-offensive smell (not harsh chemical smell) and everything being taken care of.
