I would like to take this opportunity to thank Teresa Isom for the great service she provided. I had a few questions regarding my Blue Cross Coverage and Benefits she addressed all my questions in easy understandable laymen terms. It was great interacting with someone that wasn't in a rush, listened to my questions. The care she showed me was impeccable read more

Was waited on by Shannon, I believe. She was unpleasant to say the least. I asked questions and she would respond w/a bitchy tone and attitude as though I was wasting her time and I should've known the answers already. If I repeated something back or asked something just to confirm what she told me, she'd respond, "Like I just said..." Just plain rude. If you don't like answering questions and dealing w/people, then you shouldn't be in a customer service position. read more

If I could give them a negative star I would because this company is horrible at customer service. I have begged them to take me off their caller list and told them they have the wrong number at least 15 times and still this is of no help. I figured I would just block their number and that would solve my problems, but no, they call me from different phone numbers. I have throated to file harassment charges against them, tried to speak with a manager and nothing works. If they were truly a repeatable company then they would be able to keep track of who they are calling. This company is a joke, don't conduct business with them.

I was short of breath from the coughing and had constant nasal drip. The PA said it was an acute upper respiratory infection. I asked for something stronger than over the counter cough medication and she prescribed the pearl drops which I told her do not seem to work for me. She said then I could just continue with the over the counter cough medications that I am taking. I did go ahead and take the prescription for the pearl drops. i asked if there was something else that she could give me and she said it would have to run its course. My husband was there with me because he has been sick with the same symptom. When she saw him she gave him an antibiotic and the pearl drops for his cough. I am not at all happy that I was not given an antibiotic as well. Hopefully he will be well soon but I am afraid I will be fighting g this for a while longer! I will not go back to this place! I wasted two hours of my time and the money for my office visit!

Long story short my elderly Mom had a skilled nursing appointment confirmed the day before only to be told because her skill that was required was difficult she was discharged a day before her appointment. I have had the run around for 4 months with them regarding cancelled appointments and false promises. I could go on and on but my best advice do not use VNA of Rhode Island. Just an update the VNA called and appologized admitting it was a mistake. They also offered services for an additional 2 weeks to allow us time to find another nursing service. While I am still not thrilled I feel a little better that they responded back so quickly.

I was told "Oh you're next" several times. I honestly felt like I was on a hidden camera show. Once in the office I waited another hour... for no physical. Only a "Hey how are you, nice to meet you. We are so busy, see the front desk to schedule your physical. I can refill your rx medication so have them fax me your old doctor's prescription!". This cost me $90. Beyond unacceptable. I then scheduled my physical... which was around 6 months. My refill did come up, and it was denied. Apparently I was supposed to go a Dermatologist? Never was told that, never given any information on that. Was told I was called (I would remember, and I see no emails or voicemails as of right now). The receptionist also said "oh we told the pharmacy", which wasn't true. The Pharmacy said it was denied with no reason given. I ended my term as patient (I genuinely feel like I wasn't one so no big loss) and honestly don't know if they cared. The medical assistant gleefully said "We can deactivate you as a patient!" Business must be good so they can treat new patients this way.
