We found this casual eatery en route from the airport to Alberobello in Puglia. It's about halfway along the 6 hour drive & a very welcome spot for our first everyday taste of Italy. Great pizzas & most accommodating staff. Not at all fancy, just a neighborhood place to get a bite to eat. A couple of storefronts away is a pastisceria - perfect dessert for the last half of our car ride. read more
