I used to love this gym and the trainers here! But what good is a good gym with poor management? I have repeatedly had unsatisfactory experiences with Tonya, who is the general manager. There's a high turnover of staff and trainers. Meanwhile, they are charging me for a Premium+ membership even though there are much fewer small group classes. No refunds, no adjustments, no accountability. Even worse, I've learned that two of the trainers who left have since been banned from the gym--as a guest and from a regular membership, which says a lot about how this place treats people. I'm genuinely concerned that I might be banned just for leaving this review--but that should tell you everything you need to know. This gym is more interested in taking your money than honoring its commitments. SAD! read more

Some of the staff are friendly. One of the custodians (I forget her name though ) is awesome and diligent. She keeps those restrooms clean and smelling like bubble gum!They closed the Algiers location and refuse to explain why which I think is very disrespectful. Horrible experience! Wish I could give them 0 stars or negative 0. They gave me a month free in November , but turned around and charged me anyway. I tried to cancel in writing in March , but they refused and made me go into the gym. I went in and was given another email to cancel. They said they can't cancel memberships; only the billing company can. The billing company won't cancel and continue to charge me despite their initial breech of contract. I have never used their services or activated my membership, yet they continue to charge me. It's now May. I have been billed again. They refuse to stop. Stealing money from their customers. Been with them since 2017 and this is how I'm treated. I'm in the military and will not be using their services anymore. I moved out of the state but could only cancel by coming in and then - a little salt in the wound - they charge $10 to cancel! Joined a location close to my home in July 2022 for the $24.99. The overall experience with my services was great until my location was closed. The location my account was sent to an out of the way and more than five miles from my home. They took my monthly payment two days before they closed and refused to refund the payment. They also gave me the run around with the local store and corporate on the cancellation. They also refused to refund the membership I paid in September even thou I am forced to find another gym closer to my home due to no fault of my own. read more

I my self have been going for about one year now these people are great if you ask one of the coaches hey can you show the best way to do this or that's they will,show you and and work with you for a few min till you get it. They had no problem freezing my account after I had my shoulder surgery I showed them the Dr note and bam they froze me till I cam back I was out three months. The people are great always getting hellos never Met a bad person there even management is great the people working out or just as nice. This is a no frills gym no wi-Fi but hell I use my lol MP3 player and it dose just fine. So if you are looking for a gym with great people not pushy but nice this is it. They do offer you a coach but you have to pay for that they never pushed me when declined. Not pricy ether. This now 217 What is going on here when I joined in 216 you were on top of things you had at least two to three people working for clean up and checking things out. Now you have one guy working and cleaning. The woman's bathrooms could use some cleaning the toilet paper is out and the soap is sometimes out to The floors are sticky at times and the wast baskets are not emptied this is ridiculous you are recruiting people in but can't keep things up. you have three treadmills with no padding on them just sliver buttons you do not know if you are going up or down or faster or slower. You had all four of your rowers need looking at three needed screws and one needed a the foot pad fixed. It took me twice to get someone to look at and maybe fix them. Come on get with it bring this gym back up to clean. The people are still very friendly I love the coaches they are great with there people. I still give you a high rating because I love my gym. But I tell I have thought of looking else where for a gym. Please look into this do a surprise inspection or something hire another person to help the one person keep up,the poor guy might be over loaded and can't keep it up you need to clean this mess up and bring back those from last year that are now in Allergies. read more

This is an okay gym and would otherwise receive 4 stars. I have subtracted two extra stars because: -When I signed up a few months ago, I was told that they would have a room for spin classes. Great! Today, I asked when the spin classes would start. They have changed their minds, and spin will not be offered. That really sucks. -They still don't have wifi, and the employee said he has "no idea" when (or if?) they will get it. When Youfit reopened, we called about canceling our membership. The employee told us not to do that because he would freeze our membership until we felt safe. We're an older couple. This week we got a bill. When we called, they said we had to come in to freeze our membership. We did that. The gym does not look safe. Half of the people were not wearing masks and not social distancing. The employee who waited on us had his mask below his nose. I tried to stay as far away as possible. They did not return our money, but agreed to freeze our account for 3 more months and use the money we paid as dues if we came back then. However, he would not give us anything in writing stating this. I am not pleased with their response. read more

Although I attend during less crowded hours, I find this place clean and staff pretty friendly. The only aggravation is people talking loud on their cell phones while doing cardio. It is just plain rude. I wish they had more bikes but there is plenty of elliptical and treadmills. I like how I can do my own thing and leave. read more

This is a great gym with a lot of equipment. I usually don't have a problem with finding a machine to work on because they have so many. If a machine I want to use is occupied I just go to the next machine until the one I want is free. Lots of treadmills and they have 3 stair masters. The staff is very friendly and I feel like the gym is extra clean most days. The only complaint I have is they have 2 squat racks and I don't understand why people use these for anything other than squats, I.e. Barbell curls, overhead press, shrugs? Lol read more

Terrible, terrible, terrible. The gym is kept up with for the most part, though some things lately have been in disrepair. Staff seems to try to enforce rules only with certain people, and only for a short period of time. (Like walking past three people with gym bags in the middle of the gym floor up to me, to tell me the small bag I have tucked under the bench I'm on can not be on the floor, despite the fact that I've had one with me every gym session since they opened.) But by far the biggest issue I have is that the gym is already far too busy, yet they insist on constantly having flea markets in the gym during peak hours. Had there been a few tables offering meal prep or fitness related stuff, I'd have no choice but to accept it, but they have tables selling candles, baked goods, jewelry, and at least once clothing for toddlers. This brings in far too many people, crowding the gym even more. I'm sure this isn't acceptable to corporate, yet I've not received any response from the emails I've sent on their site. Just keep in mind that this is what you should expect when joining this gym. Guess you can't have your expectations too high when it comes to a $10 a month membership. read more

I signed up at this gym with high hopes of getting my life back in order after a huge baby that drastically changed my body. I was motivated and excited because the Harvey location offers child care! I just knew that this gym was my opportunity to workout like I want without the normal issue of childcare. There is no WiFi available here, there are no spin classes, and worst of all, they overcharge my bank account whenever they feel like it and I have been passed along and given the run around when I ask about being reimbursed or applying the "extra" payment to my monthly bill. I have spoken to two separate "Cory"s, a "manager" named Alexis, and am currently awaiting the response of a "regional manager" as Cory put it. I had a trainer that didn't work out, but she was able to introduce me to a wonderful trainer that I really enjoy working with, but I can't have them charging my account whatever and whenever they please and no one knows anything that the other is doing. Wasn't going to the gym was told that it was no contract month to month and the cancellation was $10. After cancelling I received a 43.67 charge. The charge wasn't disclosed to me apparently there is an annual fee that is charged regardless of how long you have been there it doesn't matter if you go one week you have to pay the annual fee. Then I got another charge the next day for 32.75 apparently if you don't cancel at least ten days before your next bill is due they force you to pay for another month. So don't be fooled the true cost to cancel is actually between upwards of $50 and $80 I was told it was in the contract after I was told there was none.
