They were allowing only one customer at a time in this small shop, so when it came to my turn I was able to be served rather quickly. For to-go items, they only had a few "hot" food available--leberkäse, bratwursts, etc. Compared to what I'm used to, the slice of leberkäse was rather thin...only about 1/4 in. rather than usual 1/2 to 3/4 in. Brats were rather cold--a telltale sign of them sitting there for a while. On the contrary, brotchen/buns on which meats were on were pretty good--crunchy outside and soft inside--just the way I like them. At a glance it looked they offered a very wide variety of sausages available in this shop, but we didn't try or buy anything...this time.

Food was plentiful no matter what you order and you can even order a pitcher of soda. Which is best instead of paying up to 3€ for s soda you can order a 1.5 liter pitcher for under 10€. The burgers were juicy and thick and plump. Good to the last drop my husband says. Lol. They had the Mezzo Mix soda which is orange and coke cola mix. I don't think we sell that back in the states. I'll have to take a picture of what A Mezzo Mix soda looks like. I had Orangina. I keep seeing the billboards everywhere here in Germany and decided I need to try this stuff.
