I found out about this place by cycling past the shop.My iphone was driving me "Bonanza", so I…read morestopped in for service at Macrepair. Their prices are very reasonable and their real professionals. Macrepair demonstrates speed, reliability and truthful answers. I would suggest going to this macrepair shop instead of heading over to some unprofessional repair shop on some dodgy street. Be careful who you leave your iphone or laptop with. I read some "alarming news" and behavior about dodgy repairmen shops who have been found guilty of broken computers of customer's personal information and banking information. I stopped in a shop on the east-side before I dropped in Macrepair. The guy was using a knife to open someone's phone. I was like wow.... really. I think that I will just stick with the professionals and just pay a little more to repair my phone at Macrepair. I know it seams like there is no one to turn to when it comes to getting your iphone repaired due to Apple's rejections and restrictions on iPhones and computers. However, instead of going to some dodgy store to get your phone or computer repaired, then I would suggest you being "smart" and hitting up Macrepair.

I took it home, noticed the only problem was it was REALLY hard to get it to turn on, but when it did it was fine... replaced the power key and bingo... it's been running great for over a year. Next time it was minor liquid damage to my 12" MB... again a cleaning and they came back with it needs a new logic board, top and bottom case and would cost 2000Eur... more than a new machine. They were "kind" enough to offer to trade me the machine for scrap and refund the 250 cleaning cost. Well I realized it did power up and run fine on AC so thought why not try just replacing the bottom case/battery... 150Eur, eBay and iFixIt + 1 hour and it works great again... On this one In these cases they should have figured this out and given me the options... I didn't spend 250Eur so that they could get cheap machines from me to refurbish and resell to make a solid profit. Now I'm a computer engineer (software and hardware) so can diagnose and repair my own machines (just don't really have the time)... Anyway if these guys tell you your machine is toast... well it may just need something minor.
