Very good food, Casual dining, kid friendly. it's a small restaurant, not meant for big groups, But they accommodate what they can. friendly staff and service. I recommend Carne en su jugo, caldo de res, all their breakfast are delicious, my favorite is huevos al albanil. read more

I finally was able to try this place, hmm,,, don't know if I'll be back. There was only one server before 9am, but it took 10-12 minutes for her to even acknowledge us, so we thought we better get our order in cause it will be a while till she returns to our table. My husband and I are obsessed with this restaurant. Small, but the staff is very friendly. We've pretty much had everything on the menu and love 90% of it! We both grew up with moms that cooked Mexican food and this place hits a home run every time. If you want authentic Mexican food, this is the place for you! What a wonderful surprise! The service was exceptional, the atmosphere wasn't noisy, and the food was so tasty. The cactus and chicken enchiladas were delicious and so was the wet chicken burrito. Beforehand, the chips were warm and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the combos come with warm vegetable-type soup. After dinner, we were unexpectedly treated to cinnamon sugar chips! Two stars not for the food, that was good as proven by the many reviews on the food here. My beef with this place is there are no public restrooms, in a sit down restaurant that serves beverages that is unheard off, mind you they do have a "No public restrooms" sticker at the front door, but for all logic that could be meant for people who want to use the bathroom only and not patronize the place. We asked if my friend could use their bathroom and he was denied, and offered the bathroom at the McDonald's in front, he'll no. You people need to invest in a larger location with bathrooms for your patrons. I counted 11 tables at this restaurant, which is not a huge place, yet when we walked in, the only two tables available have not been picked up and cleaned from the previous patrons. So I'm wrapping up, yes the food is good, it is a bit $$$ but the lack of facilities is a downer for this place. Hope management remembers that with growth comes responsibilities towards those who got you there. read more

Living so close i finally decided to stop and give this place a try, atmosphere is pretty quiet i was there around 3:30pm on a weekday not a lot of people but there was a few customers a lot of to go orders any who we were greeted as soon as we walked in you can sit wherever you like i am not sure if its because it wasn't busy but anyhow we sat the guy came brought chips and salsa which were pretty good then took our drinks order and then our food order i ordered sopes-chicken sopes to be exact i must say they were delicious i really enjoyed the food after we were done the waitress guy brought us some complimentary bunuelos(fried pastry, often dusted with cinnamon sugar) really good aswell i highly recommend read more

Having just moved to the area and going to Ralph's which is the grocery store in the same plaza I came across yoli's kitchen and read the reviews. Excited i booked marked the yelp page and finally had the chance to go. I had higher expectations especially from the look of the pictures and reviews, I even felt it could become a local favorite but it was a fail! There was about 5 other occupied tables and not extremely busy BUT the waitress still managed to drop the ball on the service. The food was ok, not the best but not the worst. Would I try it again ? Maybe if they are having a special or in desperate need of something in the area. I tried the chilaquiles with Carne ( ok, the sauce appeared and tasted like the one from a can) a taco de papa and a kids asada Taco plate - food was decent but nothing mesmerizing or great. My mom requested a couple chile relleno from here so I called in the order. When I get there to pick it up, was charged $14 for the two when a full meal cost the same. Horrible experience here decided to stop by from Orange County with my father and grandparents that are visiting. Our waitress was so inattentive my father asked for more coffee and she never brought some he had to ask the other waitress for some . We waited so long for our food that we unfortunately never got because they took almost an hour to bring it so we decided to leave instead. Are you kidding me?? that some beans and eggs take so long I don't think so. My father was a loyal customer here but for this he is no longer coming because of the lack of customer service especially the waitress why come to work if you hate it and have a b**** face on. I would give no starts but I'm force to put one .! I don't recommend this please they don't value there customers and are not clean. I also saw the man that works in the front drop some packages of salsa on the floor and put in the bag of chips to go not clean at all anyway I'm done ranting about this horrible place ! read more

This place is a little hidden, behind a Mcdonald's in a shopping center. My husband & I had been wanting to try it since they have only been open a couple of years and we were not disappointed. Let me begin with the excellent service, we returned again within 1 week, each time my husband & I ordered something different, every meal was excellent, authentic & delicious. Everything from 2-3 salsas they serve with chips, the water that has lemon & fruit pieces in it, to the cinnamon & sugar chips left with your bill, which wont be expensive. If I had one improvement it would be the chips the were a little hard and tasted a little stale. The place is small but very clean, with beautiful mexican decor & music playing which made the atmosphere more pleasurable. Love this place more & more. They have FRESH home made Mexican food. The people are very friendly. The service is a little slow on their busy days (Saturday/Sunday) but over all they make the effort to accommodate everyone. The posole (red) is amazing! Great serving size too. You can also add the pigs feet in it. They give you plenty of condiments to your liking. The menudo is amazing too! They use the white meat. I've normally only had the dark meat before. But I must say the white meat is just as tasty & easier to eat. Also I believe the posole & menudo is only sold on weekends. I have experienced them running out of menudo, so that's saying something! I also tried ordering the pork tamales but those usually seem to sell out as well. My boyfriend likes the chilaquiles with both the red sauce & green sauce eggs. He loves it cause he orders of every time. Today I tried the hard tacos with shredded beef. So good! The meat was flavorful & juicy.
