Benefits:
-It is in a lovely space in a neighborhood that hits the sweet spot of funky and touristique.
-It is very Anglophone friendly--even if I didn't speak a lick of French, I'd be comfortable attending any class here.
-Introductory special: 35 euros for 10 days of unlimited yoga (mat included!) is pretty good, and unlike other studios, they offer this to out-of-towners.
Drawbacks:
-This is straight-up, dialogue-driven Bikram yoga. Some teachers are more charismatic than others (I liked Hallie's class best, and not just because she's American!), but generally the studio style was a bit dull for me.
-Very few amenities. Bring your own hair ties, plastic bags, cold drinks.
-The men's and women's dressing rooms are mysteriously unmarked, so I saw quite a few people--okay, I was one of them--wander into the wrong room while yoga stoned. ...But if you're a bit pervy and consider this a benefit rather than a drawback, you can think of this as a 4-star review. read more
