I've been to a LOT of studios over the years and I can still remember my practice here, as if it was yesterday. This place has something special about it. The aura here is like nothing I've ever experienced before. It's soothing and welcoming, and comforting, like a warm blanket on a freezing winter day. It's hard to explain, and something I've never felt at another studio. This place definitely "holds the space" for you. I can't remember the teacher who's class I took, I was THAT deep into my practice when I came here. The building itself has a history that nearly seems magical. It's was/is a ski place in the winter time. And wanting to continue use of the space during the off season, when you can't ski, it's yoga time. The building looks like an old cabin, complete with old wood floors and beams and benches throughout. Again, it doesn't look like much for the outside, but the inside just feels magical. I've practiced everywhere. All over the state and in my 8 years of being a yogi, nothing has ever came as close to feeling as amazing as Turtle Yoga! Yes- I definitely recommend!

There is a small but really nice selection of performance yoga wear for sale. She sells Kambucha and the most delicious coconut waters I have ever had. I highly recommend yoga roots if you are advanced and looking for a place to expand your practice or you are brand new to yoga and just had a tough week and want to clear your mind, love yourself, stretch out and roll around with a gentle or restorative yoga class. Again, I really love the inclusiveness of this studio. Tiffany can teach the proper modifications to allow everyone of all shapes and ages to realize the benefits of yoga. I recently stayed at the ranch in January for a partner yoga retreat. The grounds are wonderful…read more There are lots of hiking trails and scenic spots to relax. It was just after a snow fall when we arrived and a winter wonderland. There is a beautiful dam with a bridge that you drive over going into the area. The falls were partially frozen with half ice, half water. The food they serve is vegetarian and very delicious. Carla and her team were wonderful in the kitchen. The dome structures where the yoga retreat was held were really light and airy and a great place to practice. Our room was in the lodge, room 2. It was nice, clean, and close to everything. The mattress was a little uncomfortable. But really that's my only complaint from the whole weekend. I can't wait to return in the summer to view this center when it is green and warm. I recommend a retreat here, you will feel great after. We did.

Ashley took us through a lovey restorative yoga class that took all our cares and worries away. And it was right BEFORE the holidays when you would think nothing could distress you. We all then went to dinner and I know because of our start at the Yoga Queen our evening was enriched with enjoying our time together. I would highly recommend this as a "BEST" girls night out.
