My mom and I went in on Friday she got a pedi and I got acrylic just something quick a lot of places I called were booked for the day so I called YN nail "spa" and made an appointment 30 mins after I called. Got my nails done yadda yadda and when they were finished I instantly saw things I didn't like the nails weren't the same size and some of them were not smooth and curving in the bed of the nail. 2 hours after, I noticed them peeling which has never happened to me before especially with gel. I went in the next day (Saturday) and got them fixed. Well yesterday, Sunday different nails were peeling while I was at work. Today I woke up and went to the salon for a refund, this is so dumb I spent $60 for my nails to look like shit ultimately cause they have a no refund policy... I also spoke to my mom and she said that (which she didn't tell me before) they didn't even soak her feet cause their hot water was off and the guy brought hot water to the girls next to her but not for her and her feet have been really sore all weekend. Moral of the story if you want your nails done, don't go here. read more

My daughter (9) and I chose YN nails for pedicures this weekend and they were AMAZING! It was the first place I've actually been to where they massage my feet/calves, most places give them a quick rub and call it good. The salon was clean and the tubs even had liners which is a huge plus to me. Ruby was amazing and super sweet with my daughter and the gentleman who helped me was extremely nice and paid close attention to detail. Highly recommend!! read more

Might have been my worst experience at a salon. She was so fast, she cut me twice (didn't even apologize) the polish was bubbled up, the nail shape was not good at all. They offered to have me come back but I will never be back to this place. read more

just moved to town and needed a basic mani pedi. went to yelp, read reviews, compared prices, and chose this place. I called ahead and made an appointment. I walked in on time and waited about 10 minutes or so until they put me in a chair, and another 15 minutes until someone could get to me. wasn't even upset about that but when I asked the gal working on me if she could check to see if my big toe needed to be cut (seemed sore when I woke up and that typically means it needs to be cut) she said yes, that she would go back to it and then continued on the next foot. next came the shortest callous removal in the history of feet. normally they put it on you, let it sit for a bit and then scrub the dickens out of your feet for about 2-3 minutes. not this gal. she applied a gel product to the pumice and then scrubbed each feet for I sh#t you not, 6 seconds a piece. not happy about that part at all. so fast forward to her zig zagging the paper towel through my toes to start with the bottom coat and I gently asked her again if she could check my big toe (mostly because we speak different languages and I wasn't sure she knew what I was asking of her) "OHHHHHHH KAAaAAAaaaAy!!" she responded, like I was nagging her to rinse her cereal bowl. she said she would do it when she was done. (when you are done painting my toes?!) oh I see, you meant to do that. now i'm peeved. I wasn't being the slighted bit shitty to her- there was no reason to be rude & respond to me that way. so when she was good and ready, she grabbed the toenail clippers and verified "you want them cut shorter, right?!" 'no, that's not what I want...my toe is sore- I just wanted you to...nevermind..i'll do it when I get home' I just wanted her to move on so I could get out of there. she ignored me and picked my toes some and then asked me if it was better. "yep, thank you" next she takes me across the room to the tables for a basic manicure. right before the polish she hands me off to another woman. (totally fine with that) as they switches places I turned my heel up and noticed the area that she didn't manage to scrub was rough and dry. I looked at the other foot and the same thing. the new woman sat down and I told her "my feet are still rough..she missed my heels....she didn't do a very good job" and to that she responded "thaaaaank you" like I was complimenting her. now, I have a pumice stone at home that I used every couple of days and I don't have thick callouses...this was simply a case of her rushing and not being thorough. why pay someone to do something and go home and have to do it again myself? as I went up to pay, the young man that seemed to me in charge simply said '$46' not a 'how was everything?' or nothin. I told him 'she did a really bad job on my feet. I still have callouses on the back, look...' and picked my foot up. he didn't look, he didn't care, he didn't say sorry, he said "well for basic pedi we can't get all of the thick callouses off" I told him I don't have thick callouses and I scrub them myself several times a week. I told him i've been getting 2 pedicures a month for 33 years and I know a bad pedi when I get one. he didn't say anything and just charged my card and laughed nervously. I told him 'i'm not being unreasonable- she did a bad job' -again, he didn't offer an apology or empathy to me...so for that, he gets a crap review when he could have made it right and had 3 new customers (my family just got here this week and we need a nail salon) I haven't written a bad review in many years because i'm a small business owner and I understand everyone is struggling right now but I gave him the chance to fix it and he did nothing but giggle at me. I added pics of my heels. it literally took me less than 30 seconds to hit them up myself when I got home. they weren't bad- they were just missed completely. I got a good look at the crap job she did on my fingers (should be easy- just trim and file them) so I included those pics as well. read more

I have had many mediocre experiences with this salon but after today I won't go back. I was running a little late and asked my sister who had an appointment with me asked if it was okay that I was late and the manager replied that it was okay because he was running late as well. I showed up 15 minutes late and was told to have a seat at a desk. Then I was ignored for 45 minutes while I watched my sister get her nails filled. Her nail tech asked (as she was putting the top coat on my sister) if anyone was going to do my nails, but I didn't have time anymore. While I was sitting we watched them take a walk in before me. I wasn't even looked at let alone apologized to. I wrote a review on google and the manager just told me that it was my fault because I was late and argued that he didn't take any walk in's even though my sister was there and saw it too. I might have thought about going back, but the manager's attitude sealed the deal that we will be finding a new salon and taking our friends with us. read more

I have never gotten a nail that looked the way I wanted until I came here!! Everybody was so nice and professional and the nail tech made sure it was the exact shape, length and color. I'm not the type of person to tell people that I don't like the shape but my nail tech Mindy made me feel very comfortable and she was very honest!! Which is something that I always look for. This salon is so beautiful! Very clean, white floors and walls, beautiful decorations! The staff are all very friendly. They have tea and cocoa and water to drink during your service. The pedicure massage chairs are amazing! I got the deluxe pedicure with regular polish and really enjoyed the massage. I also added the hot paraffin wax which felt so nice! Not sure when nail salons got so expensive but I guess I turned that corner. If salons are going to charge a high amount their work needs to be good. My nail shape was so bad I didn't let the nail tech paint my nails cause I was going to go home and fix them and of course they tried to charge me extra for something. I should have taken a photo but I was so over it. I would not recommend at all. Businesses need to take pride in their work and give the customer what they are looking for. I'm so happy that I stumbled across Y&N! This is the third nail salon in town that I've tried recently, and is the best! They acknowledge you by name and make you feel important, not like just another customer (like most places). The gal who did my nails and pedicure, Cori, is the best. She walked me through various options for my nails (e.g., dip power; builder gel; acrylic) and gave me her recommendation based on what I was looking for. Same thing with the pedicure! It was nice to meet someone so knowledgeable, who took the time to listen to me, ask how I was doing throughout, etc. It means a lot to me to feel this way when I go to the nail salon, as I don't get much free time. In addition to the builder gel manicure, I came back the next day and enjoyed the deluxe pedicure with an extra 10 minute massage. It was AMAZING. Probably the best pedicure I've had in years; I haven't felt so relaxed in a long time. The massage chairs are super nice, everything is very clean and spacious, & the pedicure options are really cool (I got lemon with the deluxe pedicure and OMG it smelt SO good). I came here for my first time and got seated really fast I had a simple nail design but the lady didn't get my nails close to the pic not the same color or nothing, I left having to pay 70 dollars I got to my car and looked at them good and they were bad I called and explain. They were vary understanding and wanted me to go back the next day I went back and they fixed them and they were vary understanding and apologized too me and I left happy with my nails. read more

I came in for a gel manicure with Lynn. She did my nails so fast as if she didn't want to be there. She cut multiple of my cuticles and made me bleed. I even commented on how fast she was doing my nails. She absolutely has no personality. As far as cleanliness, her station is dirty. When she was done with the clippers, she put the cap on them without cleaning or sanitizing them. I'm an Esthetician, so I know protocol. I don't recommend this place if you want an infection. read more

Took my 3 year old in to get her nails done today and I was very pleased with how patient the nail tech was with her especially after she was in discomfort with the light they use for gel nails, the nail tech didn't make her continue at all she just just worked around it ! Stay away from here! I had a good pedi first, but then for the mani, the main tech acted like she couldn't be bothered with me & that I was putting her out in some way. We never exchanged even two words, so I couldn't have somehow ticked her off. She was on her phone for a min even after I sat, rushed through my mani so much so that my cuticles are still bleeding hours later, then the moment I was done she shoved away my hands & got back on her phone.
