Good local buffet with many options. No complaints. They should increase their price on the weekend and offer crab legs lol

Food was pretty good The people are pretty respectful and he made fresh food. For the beef and broccoli that I was getting.it was very clean inside as well

Don't even know where to start. Let's just say I won't be returning here ever again. Overall, all of the food tasted old. The one thing that stood out to me is how the waitress was stuffing wonton wrappers with raw pork bare handed and refilling drinks without washing her hands. That was extremely GROSS!! YUCK! Also, everything was mislabeled and confusing AF. To top it all off, they were pricey at $16.95 for lunch right after they opened at 11:00 am.

Well, darn! Yichiban Buffet fell short of our expectations. Though this restaurant is 'help yourself at the trough' style buffet, you'll still have a server that'll bring drinks and bus the table. Our server was excellent. I didn't have to ask for a refill, and she kept the table clean. In general, the food service area was clean, and the food was refreshed before the food ran out. No complaints at all with their service. The food, well, is low quality, and tastes like every other all you can eat Chinese food restaurant. Nothing was really spicy, and nothing tasted freshly cooked. I did appreciate that I could have cantaloupe with my meal. That's really hard to get these days. The Szechuan Beef and Chicken was pretty good, but not spicy at all. Overall, the food is disappointing. The ambiance leans towards communal. You may have to wait at the trough for someone else to finish filling their plate(s). This restaurant is kid friendly, and the kid noise is hard to miss. And, why would someone come to any public place coughing up a lung? Seriously! Well, they were there. That's a HARD no for me! I get the impression Yichiban Buffet food was made fresh yesterday. It just seems lazy, like leftovers. If you want Chinese food you'll like, you might want to go elsewhere.

Yichiban Buffet This is one of my go-to stops for buffets in the Euless area. It's right off of 183 and industrial rd, easy to get to. Now for the price they offer a hibachi Grill, fresh sushi and the buffet is always pretty nicely stocked. You definitely get your money's worth here.

Good but not great, They do have a decent variety, they even have some items that I have never seen on other buffets But with a few exceptions the quality was severely lacking. I know I know it's a buffet but I have been to some quality buffets, Such as King Buffet just down the road That has higher quality standards and is comparable in price. Just to give you an example of what I'm talking about, I went to the sushi bar and grabbed a few things that I later regretted because the sushi was room temperature/warm, now I am no sushi expert (And feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) but I feel like it should be kept cold because of the raw fish but I don't actually know. But what I do know is On top of it being room temperature it also smelled extremely fishy compared to other Sushi I have had in the past So I personally will not risk it again and if I ever re-visit this Buffet I will more likely than not stick to the hot dishes. With that in mind one Hot dish in particular that I did like that I have never seen on any other Buffet was deep-fried crispy pork which was amazing and I ate quite a bit of it. All in all, it wasn't horrible or anything and I'm not going to say I wouldn't eat there again because I do love me some Buffet and there is a video arcade In the same parking lot which makes it that much more enticing for a visit So who knows I may be riding a follow-up review to this one sometime in the near future that Includes somewhat of a better experience

Not sure what the inside was like, but it looked clean through the windows. The drive-thru menu has a TON of options. We ordered the szechuan chicken with white rice and the combination fried rice. The first few times I was understanding and my new place can be kind of confusing to find the front door. In the notes section I give a lot of directions and notes to help the driver. They have never been followed. Today I placed an order asking for shrimp fried rice and I wanted it a little spicy. The only options online are x spicy, xx spicy, and xxx spicy. So I checked the box x spicy. I have order spicy lo mein, chicken fried rice, and shrimp fried rice plenty of times from this location and there was never an issue. On this occasion of course they didn't follow the directions I gave to my front door so I had to go meet the delivery driver. My order on this occasion was soooooo extremely spicy that I couldn't even eat it. I called to tell them about the order issue and whomever I spoke to was careless and had no solution for me. He said I should have put something in the notes about how much spice I wanted. That would be a great suggestion however anytime I have placed request in the notes it is always ignored. When I explained that to the person I was conversing with on the phone I was told there was nothing they would do. Not even an offer to remake the order. It sucks that this was a place I would suggest to people give how far they have fallen in quality and service. Such a disappointment.

The food ordered: pad Thai, tom kha chicken soup, yum soon sen salad, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, a side of fried rice, and jeow som sauce. I ordered off their restaurant app which does include service fees. My total was $64.22. As a whole, the food is really good, nice proportions, and steaming hot. I asked for no spice on the pad Thai and mild spice in the soup and noodle salad. But the pad Thai got all the spice. AND I MEAN SPICY! My daughter was sad at first but powered through and enjoyed it and cleared her sinuses while she was at it LOL. Simple mistake, and lesson learned to make sure everything I order in the future is at the no spice level. The crab Rangoons are thin, delicate and crispy- the filling was slightly sweet and delicious. Very good with the sweet and sour sauce that comes with it. The egg rolls weren't our favorite but they were still tasty. Just not so crispy as we would have liked. The soup was exactly what my cold needed! It cleared my nose instantly. The show stopper was the yum woon sen salad. My daughter and I fought over leftovers. It's the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and sour. A new favorite for sure! We will definitely be back to try other dishes and support this local gem!

But that wasnt the l kicker. I wanted to have a nice lunch and talk to my daughter. The waitress rushed us so that it bordered obscene! She interrupted us sooo many times and I'm not complaining that she was too efficient, she was annoying to the point of rude. I couldnt get in any good conversation as we couldnt even complete a thought! She was obviously wanting to turn the table quickly BUT A- they were not busy B-they had plenty of tables available C-they were not on a waiting list D- customers were only trickling in so she did NOT need our table, if she did I wouldve understood. People not only pick a restaurant for its food but also for the ambiance and comfortableness of it. I kept telling her we were fine, hoping she'd get the hint, she didnt. And unless you had experienced it, you probably are thinking it sounds like she was a good efficient waitress, but NO, it was so rude, and I'm sure she was trained to get customers in and rush them out as the manager lady kept coming over too as if we needed more interruptions! So by you rudely rushing us out may have got you a table quicker that you didnt even need but now youve lost a customer, so please make note of this, you were not on a waiting list, you did not need that table, so let your customer have an enjoyable experience and quit being interruptive and rude. Sure refill the tea, tale a plate, ask us if we are alright but then thats it, we were not there long, we ended up leaving and went to talk in the car. Thanks for a very bad experience, you only got two stars because I enjoyed my soup even though it was small, by the way egg drop soup costs pennies to make, you didnt need to make that smaller!
